Fit for purpose

So far so good with these poles. Sturdy but fairly lightweight. I often use my poles to "vault" over muddy areas and these are more than adequate for the job. Only minor change I would make in the design is to keep the softer material used around the main grip higher at the point where the side of the thumb meets the pole. Currently the harder plastic comes down the pole at this point and it would have been nicer to have had the softer material. All in all very happy with the product and hopefully last many years.

Tested in tough conditions mixed with snow and rocks. Poles performed good. Only one thing: do not overtighten the fasteners, it results in cracking sounds.
