A robust, lightweight and comfortably fitting men’s 3-season mid-cut shoe with technical ability for alpine hiking and long backpacking routes with waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX® protection.Engineered for moving faster and lighter on all terrain, the MTN Trainer Lite Mid also performs well on rock. Its highly wear-resistant, but lightweight, TPU-coated fabric upper has suede inserts for stability and is coupled with GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort lining for durable waterproof protection without sacrificing breathable comfort. The unique lasted mid-cut boot construction includes our trademark 3F system that connects the instep, sole and heel to ensure a comfortable, supportive and flexible fit. This is further supported by the shock-absorbing EVA midsole for long-lasting rebound. For additional stability and protection, there is a flexible ankle cuff, heel stabilizer and rubber toe cap. Overall your foot has good freedom of movement, yet still feels well supported. With climbing lacing right down to the toe to allow fine-tuning for greater precision in technical terrain. Shoes of excellent quality and design! Reliable shoes. This model of boots is great for those who have medium width or wide feet. I have wide feet and they are very comfortable in these boots. The F3 system keeps the heel firmly in place. The boots are fully compliant with the advertised benefits and technical features. Size: I have a foot length of 27.5 cm. I ordered a 28.5 cm (44 EU) shoe and it was not long enough. The toe rested on the toe when going down the mountain. But the width of the boot is great. For the next season I'm planning to buy them half a size bigger.

It is difficult to evaluate a product that we have not tested. Despite everything, I can say that my purchase seems to correspond to what I expected, ie solidity, quality, look. the size corresponds to the brand's size guide but I took a 1/2 size more and it's perfect. Very light and comfortable out of the box. I already have Rapaces so I ordered Mtn Trainer Lite in the same size and they fit great. I haven't taken then out for a walk yet but the sole feels nice and sticky on my apartment floor. The heel feels a little wider than in Rapaces but not by much.

Comfortable boots, the size is right and with the wide sole they are perfect. The sole does not have the Vibram brand, we will see its effectiveness soon on wet surfaces not yet tested on them. For this reason I have not given my best.
