This outdoor watch tells you when a blast is coming with the storm alarm, with this you can make the most accurate decision on your way. In addition, you have an altimeter, barometer, thermometer, digital compass and barometric trend indicator. The pressure sensor works in four modes. The Suunto Core has an automatic alti-baro mode that detects movements or absence of movements, and changes accordingly.

Great watch, but the strap is not one of them. I came to a conclusion. that it cracks in the cold or a change in temperature, so once every half a year. maybe more often! you have to change straps. which are already pre-ordered for this occasion))

The Suunto Black Core is currently one of the best products if you are looking for a baro altimeter without GPS. Since GPS and smartphones / smartwatches potentially interfere with avalanche transceivers, this is an important aspect for ski tourers. But the altimeter is only accurate to about 10 m (my experience so far, after a tour). Delivery took COVID-19 a little longer due to conditions. Watch was well packed. TradeInn could provide a little more transparency about additional costs (customs fees, but VAT is very small). In the end it was still cheaper than with other providers. 30 SFr were added.

The clock is great, yes the altimeter you have to calibrate it almost every time. The thermometer marks well, as long as you take it off your wrist for a while to catch the room temperature. For the rest I still have things to try.

Fast delivery, watch perfectly packed in with some spare parts for the bonus bracelet in the box. Very nice watch conforms to my expectations which seems robust (to be verified) not connected with all the essential functions to the fighters (altimeter, compass, barometer) the instruments are precise, I check the calibrations with traditional tools. The settings are intuitive there is almost no need for the record. Elegant and light it has become my watch in everyday life. I recommend, especially on this site that offers half less expensive than anything I had seen .... it's the right price, the more I would not have bought. Thank you.

Very well constructed clock which with some minor improvements was perfect. The main one is in the placement of 2 more daily alarms and another would be a stopwatch on a larger screen and it is possible to remove intermediate times (aka Lap Times). As for the store the clock arrived in good condition with no major issues. My 4 stars are more from the Suunto firmware.

Very nice watch but it is a gift and I await the comments of the user to know if he is satisfied. For having already offered a Suunto vector, but which unfortunately has not been waterproof (without diving of course ...) and has been repaired twice by Suunto, I hope the Core will not have the same worries And will give satisfaction to the mountaineer to whom it was offered !!

Good watch for mountaineering. The altimeter is very accurate and every meter mark not like my previous suunto vector yellow that marked every five meters. The battery lasts long (mine wears two years) menus are super easy to access, dual time function is very handy when traveling to another country. (So you know when to call hehe) the compass also doing very well. It is generally much easier to use and more intuitive than my old table. As failure is that the black model (mine) screen characters are little indoors but outside it is ultimately for what is designed, look great even at night. It also has a very attractive look, when you're not on the mountain is still worth as a dress watch.

I bought this watch for the many great features, but it is also surprisingly comfortable and stylish! I love the storm alarm feature! I always know when it´s about to rain (and so do my friends). The altimeter, barometer, and compass are very accurate after the initial calibration. The thermometer will always read better after taking it off for about 10-15 mins, because your body temp offsets the reading. I love the black on black style! I wear it all the time and I have received a lot of comments on it. It´s a little pricey for what I would normally spend on a watch, but totally worth it! All around great watch!
