The North Face Resolve Pants have arrived to offer revolutionary protection against adverse weather conditions, highly favorable for hiking, trekking or mountaineering with total safety and comfort.
The two layers DryVent fabric is combined with the durable waterproof finish (DWR) to provide the maximum impermeability you have ever seen, capable to resist an intense rain or light snow. Besides, this fabric allows the expulsion of sweat and moisture to the outside, so you always maintain dry no matter how strong the day has been.
This waterproof pant comes with an elastic waist, hand pockets with zipper, zippers on the ankles if you want more ventilation, and Velcro closure in case you need to adjust it to the boot to avoid the entering of snow.

They layer perfectly over a baselayer and thanks to the knee-high side zips and Velcro® ankle tabs you can pull them on - quickly - over hiking boots and regular trousers if you´re caught in a sudden downpour.

They are a bit bulky, but can be placed well over other pants, and the zipper allows you not to have to remove your boot. I have not tried them yet in the rain.

I had initially purchased the jacket made with the same material (dryvent) and having found myself very well in terms of thermoregulation and waterproofing I wanted to buy the pants, choosing an extra size to find myself more comfortable in pedaling, clothing of this type is a godsend against the cinesate that you trim in certain other shops, of course it has its cost but it is really waterproof, tested under a flood, they have not made a crease, it is not a "water repellent" fabric that after a few washes loses its quality but rather it is really waterproof, light and breathable enough not to die of the sauna during moderate physical activity! It also has the advantage (the whole set) of being light and thin allowing you to use a heated vest if necessary and therefore to dress in layers according to the outside temperatures, especially when they vary by 10 degrees at a time.

I really like these pants I use them together with the jacket of the same model and it is a perfect complement for the rain, it breathes very well and they protect wonderfully a bit more bulky than the ones of the venture model (also recommendable) but they feel more solid and durable .
