I think it is a wonderful jacket, robust, beautiful and with the possibility of adding and removing a lining for the colder months. The only drawback I might have is that it doesn't have an inside pocket or even on the outside so you can keep your hands inside while you walk.

today i received a m 65 so for so good be warned what they recommended on the size chart my not be what you are looking for in sizes . the delivery time took about one week longer especially if you live on the west coast and any holidays. i was lucky enough to listen to my wife who said to get it two sizes to big its a great fit and and warm i havnt tried it in the snow yet but i am not worried iam sure it would be warm there too

Very good jacket and warm enough. I use it for hiking in the mountains with temperatures of 0° and only a t-shirt underneath and the truth is that I don't get cold at all. I am very happy with her.

I placed the order on the 27th, Friday, and the following Monday I already had it. The size is XL, I'm 1'80, weight 95, the sleeves are rather long, which in my case suits me well, this size allows me to wear a thin sweatshirt underneath and it still fits perfectly. It is quite warm due to its removable inner lining.

This jacket is really beautiful and of great quality. Happily Waveinn has it in black and in M. Here I took my normal size, it was not necessary to order a size less, yes, the sleeves are somewhat long, but they can be folded and fixed with the sewn-in velcro patch. It would be desirable to find more current colors, such as ACU, CP or Jungle Digital. I wouldn't know which one to choose.

I bought it in M and the size is correct, with the padded lining on, the lace is very nice. Without the inner lining, it feels baggy but the jacket has a fixed, cool cotton inner lining for use in warmer weather. It is a very good purchase, the material of the jacket is mostly polyester with little cotton, so it is very resistant and light. The truth is that, except for the absence of style details, such as a necessary printing on the pocket that says M65 or some nice military-style embroidery or Velcro to put a patch on yourself, it is an excellent option.
La compré en M y la talla es la correcta, con el forro acolchado puesto el encaje es muy agradable. Sin el forro interior, se siente holgada pero la casaca tiene un forro interior fijo de algodón fresco para usarla en climas más calidos. Es una muy buena compra, el material de la casaca es mayoritariamente poliester con poco algodón, por lo que es muy resistente y ligera. La verdad que, salvo la ausencia de detalles de estilo, como un necesaria impresión en el bolsillo que diga M65 o algún bordado bonito de estilo militar o velcro para poner uno mismo un parche, es una excelente opción.

Hi, Before going further into details, never forget one fundamental thing: the Brandit M65 Standard jacket is a legendary object. Not a ten-bullet jacket or a vague Military copy of low-brow fast fashion. The guy or girl who chooses this model becomes a de facto member of a unique clan. Hola estimado. Particularmente le aconsejaría una talla M si gusta de una prenda más ajustada. En cambio si desea que le quede más holgada debería comprar una talla L. En mi experiencia Brandit fabrica ésta chaqueta con una talla ligeramente más grande de la talla europea que usamos regularmente, asemejándose más a las tallas de USA.

Hello, dear Sir or Madam, It´s very simple. Take out of your dressing room (or your wardrobe, like everyone else) one of your jackets that you like and that you have worn for a long time. Even the one with a big eagle behind it. What is important is not the length of the sleeves (always too long) or the back, but the width of the chest and the width of the shoulders (if you are a guy*). Returning from your dressing room, you delicately place your old jacket flat on your bed (if you have a bed) and you measure the two widths concerned: the width of the chest X 2 and the shoulders X 1 (the size guide is quite precise). The rest will happen naturally. Advising you on a size is quite tricky, but your measurements indicate that you are of medium to large height and of slender build, I deduce an L would do the trick. PLEASE NOTE: a Brandit M65 Standard is worn loose, even with its lining, to allow you to add a sweater or hoodie in case of extreme cold. As far as pockets go, it´s poor. Ce qui est important ce n'est pas la longueur des manches (toujours trop longues) ou du dos, mais la largeur de la poitrine et la largeur des épaules (si vous êtes un gars*). Revenu de votre dressing, vous posez délicatement votre ancienne veste bien à plat sur votre lit (si vous avez un lit) et vous mesurez les deux largeurs concernées: la largeur de la poitrine X 2 et les épaules X 1 (le guide des tailles est assez précis). Le reste ira naturellement. Vous conseiller une taille est assez délicat, mais vos mensurations indiquant que vous êtes de taille moyenne à grande et de corpulence svelte, j'en déduis d'une L ferait l'affaire. ATTENTION: une Brandit M65 Standard se porte ample, même avec sa doublure, afin de permettre d'ajouter un pull ou un sweat à capuche en cas de grand froid. Pour ce qui est des poches, c'est pauvre. Hi, Forgive me for being familiar with you, but someone who buys such a jacket is automatically a friend. Never forget that you will be part of the “Brandit elite” thus becoming an example to follow. Pourquoi? Pour en posséder quatre (2 Standard et 2 Giant), elles me permettent ainsi une certaine polyvalence. Quant aux poches, c´est assez limité. Deux poches de poitrine et deux poche de bas de veste et c´est tout. Rien à l´intérieur. Mais là, par expérience, une sacoche en bandoulière assortie est bien plus pratique et trendy (les filles savent pourquoi). Encore une chose, les manches sont très souvent, voire toujours, trop longues. Deux solutions: soit tu allonges tes bras au fitness du coin, soit tu passes chez ta couturière. Hello, There are two options to know the ideal size of this M65 Standard jacket: 1) take one of your old jackets. Lay it flat on your bed and take its different measurements. 2) Rely on Brandit´s "Size Measurements" (Brandit Fieldjacket M65 Classic). They are reliable and only those concerning the (half) chest and waist circumference are decisive (the measurement of the back is not important because the jacket is of a timeless style, loose and all-purpose). But back to the ideal size. It´s also not bad to consider your shoulder width. Being myself quite athletic, I recommend 3XL or 4XL. Your old jacket will help you. Remember that with or without a liner, you must be totally free to move. But anyway, you made the best choice. This jacket is a second skin, comfortable and universal. Hello, There are two options to know the ideal size of this M65 Standard jacket: 1) take one of your old jackets. Lay it flat on your bed and take its different measurements. You will therefore have no risk of making a mistake... unless you bought it when you were 14 years old. 2) Rely on Brandit´s "Size Measurements" (Brandit Fieldjacket M65 Classic). They are reliable and only those concerning the (half) chest and waist circumference are decisive (the measurement of the back is not important because the jacket is of a timeless style, loose and all-purpose). On the other hand, the length of the sleeves is quite large. You will certainly have to go through your favorite seamstress or politely ask your girlfriend or your mom to bring out her sewing machine. ATTENTION: the fabric is quite thick. So take some thread and a needle accordingly. But back to the ideal size. It´s also not bad to consider your shoulder width. Being myself quite athletic, I recommend 4XL. 1) prendre une de vos anciennes vestes. La mettre bien à plat sur votre lit et prendre ses différentes mesures. Vous n'aurez ainsi aucun risque de vous tromper... sauf si vous l'aviez achetée vers 14 ans.
2) Vous en remettre aux "Mesures des tailles" de Brandit (Brandit Fieldjacket M65 Classic). Elles sont fiables et seules celles concernant le (demi) tour de poitrine et de taille sont déterminantes (la mesure du dos est peu importante car la veste est de style indémodable, ample et passe-partout).
Par contre, la longueur des manches est bien assez grande. Vous devrez certainement passer par votre couturière préférée ou demander poliment à votre copine ou à votre maman de ressortir sa machine à coudre. ATTENTION: le tissu est assez épais. Prenez donc du fil et une aiguille en conséquence.
Mais revenons à la taille idéale. Il est aussi pas mal de tenir compte de votre largeur d'épaules. Etant moi-même assez athlétique, je vous conseille du 4XL. Votre ancienne veste vous aidera. Dear Sylvester Stallone (just kidding), After buying 4 M65 jackets (2 Classic and 2 Giant), I recommend size 3XL, or even 4XL if you are rather broad-shouldered. The Classic model (the one you are interested in) has a straight, fairly wide and "go-anywhere" cut. Its lining is of medium thickness (that of the Giant is thicker and therefore warmer) and really necessary in case of cold (scooter or motorcycle trips). It´s a second skin! Its comfort and look are timeless. Excellent choice ! ATTENTION: if in doubt, order both sizes. And if not "misfortune" the 3 XL is too small or the 4XL too big, offer it to someone you love. Remember that small, inexpensive gifts maintain friendships... and even more. Little tip: lay one of your favorite jackets flat on your bed (if you have a bed), especially measure the chest circumference (ATTENTION: the Brandit size measurement is half a chest width). Not too much concern for the length of the back except that the sleeves are a bit long (but with your perfect figure, no problem). PS returning an unsuitable item is not a disaster. Après avoir acheté 4 vestes M65 (2 Classic et 2 Giant), je vous conseille la taille 3XL, voire 4XL si vous êtes plutôt large d´épaules. Le modèle Classic (celui qui vous intéresse), est d´une coupe droite assez ample et "passe-partout". Sa doublure est de moyenne épaisseur (celle de la Giant est plus épaisse donc plus chaude) et vraiment nécessaire en cas de froid (trajets en scooter ou en moto). C´est une seconde peau ! Son confort et son look sont indémodables. Excellent choix ! ATTENTION: dans le doute, commandez les deux tailles. Et si pas "malheur" la 3 XL est trop petite ou la 4XL trop grande, offrez-la à quelqu´un que vous aimez bien. Souvenez-vous que les petits cadeaux pas chers entretiennent l´amitié... voire plus. Petite astuce: mettez bien à plat une de vos vestes préférées sur votre lit (si vous avez un lit), mesurez surtout le tour de poitrine (ATTENTION: la mesure de la taille Brandit est une demi-largeur de poitrine). Pas trop de soucis pour la longueur du dos sauf que les manches sont un poil longues (mais avec votre silhouette parfaite, pas de problème). Hello, I am often asked what is my opinion on such and such a product (in particular the Brandit brand which I prefer to others). Above all, this jacket is great. It combines comfort, quality, classy look and durability, in short, top notch. If your measurements place you in the rather thin average, I advise you a little trick because one measurement is fundamental: the chest circumference. It will define the extent of your movements and therefore your comfort. Take a jacket that you have worn regularly and where you feel comfortable. It doesn´t have to look like the M65 Standard jacket. Lay it flat on your bed (if you have a bed, of course) and compare the measurements with those in Brandit´s "size guide". These basic measurements (M65 Fieldjacket Classic) are quite faithful to reality, but do not forget that measurement 1 corresponds to half of the chest circumference. The back measurement is standard, but the length of the sleeves is often too long (a good soul will know how to correct all this... unless you are an ace at sewing). One more reminder: take a fairly loose size because going to work on a scooter or motorbike in cold weather requires a good quality sweater or sweatshirt. So think big.Even if in summer you remove the lining, you will have more room for ventilation. Either way, you´ll be handsome as someone with good taste who favors a practical and universal spirit over low-level show-off. And if you hesitate between two sizes, take both, keep one and offer the other to a loved one. A good inexpensive plan for Christmas. AS54

On me demande souvent quel est mon avis sur tel ou tel produit (en particulier de marque Brandit que je préfère aux autres). Avant tout, cette veste est super. Elle allie confort, qualité, look classe et durabilité, bref du top. Si vos mensurations vous situent dans la moyenne plutôt mince, je vous conseille une petite astuce car une mesure est fondamentale: le tour de poitrine. Il définira l´ampleur de vos mouvements et par cela, votre confort. Prenez une veste que vous avez porté régulièrement et où vous vous sentez à l´aise. Pas besoin qu´elle ressemble à la veste M65 Standard. Posez-la bien à plat sur votre lit (si vous avez un lit, bien sûr) et comparez les mesures avec celles du "guide des tailles" de Brandit. Ces mesures de bases (M65 Fieldjacket Classic) sont assez fidèles à la réalité, mais n´oubliez pas que la mesure 1 correspond à la moitié du tour de poitrine. La mesure du dos est standard, mais la longueur des manches et souvent trop importante (une bonne âme saura vous corriger tout cela... à moins que vous soyez un as en couture). Encore un petit rappel: prenez une taille assez ample car aller en scooter ou en moto au boulot par temps froid nécessite un bon pull ou un sweat de qualité. Donc, voyez large. Même si en été vous enlevez la doublure, vous aurez ainsi plus de place pour l´aération. De toute façon, vous serez beau comme quelqu´un de bon goût qui privilégie l´esprit pratique et universel à la frime de bas étages. Et si vous hésitez entre deux tailles, prenez les deux, gardez en une et offrez l´autre à un être aimé. Un bon plan pas cher pour Noël. AS54

Hello, If I were you, I would aim for the XL, even the 2XL. Why? In comparison with the M65 Giant models (more military type with a thicker lining), the M65 Standard has a more "city" look. Its lining is thinner and slightly less warm (I own both models). I don´t know where you live, but don´t forget that right now it can be cold, especially when going to work on a scooter or motorbike. Si j'étais vous, je viserais le XL, voire le 2XL. Pourquoi? En comparaison avec les modèles M65 Giant (type plus militaire avec une doublure plus épaisse), le M65 Standard a un look plus "ville". Sa doublure est plus mince et légèrement moins chaude (je possède les deux modèles). J'ignore où vous habitez, mais n'oubliez pas que dès maintenant déjà, il peut faire froid surtout en allant à votre travail en scooter ou en moto. Bonne chance! AS54

Votre rapport taille/poids me semble correspondre à une taille Brandit de 2XL, mais il faut tenir compte également de votre morphologie. Etes-vous plutôt élancé, charpenté (large d´épaules) ou normal (je parle de l´apparence extérieur et non de votre état psychique)? Il faut aussi retenir que cette veste possède une doublure (plus mince qu´un modèle Giant) donc un petit peu moins chaude. Il est donc nécessaire de prévoir un pull en cas de grand froid. Aller au travail en scooter ou en moto, déjà maintenant, est un très bon banc d´essai. ATTENTION: échanger une taille trop petite ou trop grande n´est pas une catastrophe.
