Whether you are an outdoor enthusiast, a survivalist, part of a tactical team, or simply preparing a robust emergency kit for your vehicle, the Gerber E-Tool is the compact and powerful solution you can depend on.

At only 2.3 pounds (37.3 oz), this NATO-approved entrenching tool folds up to be a portable powerhouse, easily stowed in a backpack or vehicle without adding significant weight or bulk. When deployed, it transforms into a formidable tool for digging, chopping, and clearing. The design brilliantly balances a lightweight frame with unyielding strength. Its construction features a virtually indestructible glass-filled nylon handle that provides a secure grip, a robust, anodized 7075 aluminum shaft, and a formidable powder-coated boron carbon steel blade. This combination of advanced materials ensures the E-Tool is as tough as you need, ready to tackle packed dirt, dense roots, and rocky soil. The open-frame design of the shovel handle and a reliable locking mechanism ensure it remains fixed and stable during heavy use. For enhanced versatility, this model is available with or without an integrated pick feature, allowing you to choose the perfect configuration for breaking up hardpan or ice.

Blades

The head of the Gerber E-Tool is more than just a shovel. Forged from powder-coated boron carbon steel for superior strength and corrosion resistance, its blade is designed for multifaceted use. This serrated edge is perfect for sawing through stubborn roots, cutting small branches, and handling other unexpected obstacles you may encounter in the field, making it a true multi-purpose survival instrument.
