EQUITHEME Square Flycool Horse Exercise Rug

Ensure your horse remains comfortable, cool, and focused during every ride with the innovative EQUITHEME Square Flycool Horse Exercise Rug. Specifically designed for ridden work, from warm-ups and training sessions to leisurely hacks, this rug is the ultimate solution for protection and performance in warmer weather. It provides a lightweight, effective barrier against environmental nuisances without compromising your horse´s freedom of movement or causing overheating.

This exceptional quarter version exercise rug is expertly engineered with a dual-material design, combining a highly breathable mesh with a quick-drying textured fabric to deliver comprehensive comfort. The smart, square cut is tailored to fit neatly behind the saddle, offering essential coverage for the horse´s quarters and back while allowing the rider to maintain close leg contact and full use of aids.

Unmatched Protection and Riding Comfort

Say goodbye to the irritation and distraction of biting insects during your rides. The advanced insect-repellent properties of the fabric create a protective shield around your horse, allowing for more peaceful and productive training. This feature is indispensable for sensitive horses that become agitated by flies and other pests, ensuring their concentration remains on their work.

Furthermore, this exercise rug provides superior protection from the sun´s harmful effects. The ultra-breathable mesh that forms the sides of the rug is not only fantastic for ventilation but also offers certified UV 50+ protection. This crucial feature safeguards your horse’s skin from sunburn and helps prevent the coat from bleaching, all while allowing maximum airflow to keep them cool and comfortable on the sunniest days.

Engineered for Performance

Designed for the active horse, the upper back panel is crafted from an ultra-light, quick-drying synthetic material. This specialized fabric sits directly over the major muscle groups of the back and loins, working to efficiently wick away sweat and moisture. By keeping this key area dry, the rug helps regulate your horse´s temperature and prevents the chill that can occur from dampness after exercise, supporting muscle health and overall well-being.

Practicality is paramount in the design. The rug attaches securely and simply to your saddle billets with sturdy velcro straps, allowing for quick and easy fitting or removal without needing to untack. To guarantee a stable and secure fit through all gaits, from walk to canter, a durable tail strap is included. This prevents the rug from shifting or flapping, providing peace of mind for the rider and uninterrupted comfort for the horse.
