Apple scented flexi double jointed mouthpiece, with a roller in the centre for a relaxing effect.

The cornerstone of this bit is its unique mouthpiece. The double-jointed design conforms naturally to the horse´s mouth anatomy, eliminating the "nutcracker" effect associated with single-jointed bits. This ensures pressure is distributed more evenly across the tongue and bars of the mouth, preventing pinching and reducing direct pressure on the sensitive palate. The result is a much kinder action that encourages the horse to soften in the jaw and accept the contact without resistance.

Further enhancing this gentle approach is the flexible material of the mouthpiece. It offers a softer, warmer feel compared to traditional metal, making it particularly suitable for horses with sensitive mouths or those who are hesitant to take the bit. Infused with a pleasant apple scent, the bit becomes more inviting, promoting salivation and gentle chewing, which are key indicators of a relaxed and receptive horse.

A standout feature is the small, smooth roller integrated into the central link. This element provides a focal point for the horse´s tongue, encouraging playful engagement. For horses that tend to get tense, lean on the bit, or cross their jaw, this roller can help dissipate anxiety, keeping the mouth busy and the mind focused. This subtle distraction fosters a state of relaxation, allowing the rider´s aids to be received more clearly.

The full cheek design provides significant functional benefits, especially for green horses or those needing clearer directional guidance. The long arms of the cheekpiece prevent the bit from being pulled through the horse´s mouth, offering superior stability. They also apply gentle pressure to the side of the horse´s face when a turning aid is given, providing an unambiguous signal that helps teach the horse to move away from the pressure. This makes it an invaluable tool for improving steering and straightness.

Choose the FEELING Flexi Snaffle to build confidence, encourage a soft and steady contact, and foster a more willing and comfortable equine partner. It is more than just a piece of equipment; it is a thoughtfully designed communication tool that prioritizes your horse´s well-being and supports your training goals
