Waldhausen Basic over reach boots

WALDHAUSEN Basic Over Reach Boots – Essential Daily Hoof Protection

Ensure your horse´s safety and well-being with the WALDHAUSEN Basic Over Reach Boots, an indispensable piece of protective horse equipment for daily use. Designed with the horse´s anatomy and the rigours of training in mind, these protectors offer a fundamental layer of security for the delicate hoof and heel area. Whether for turnout, lunging, or everyday riding, these boots are engineered to provide reliable defence against overreach injuries, where the hind hoof strikes the heel bulb or coronet band of the front hoof. Investing in these high-quality protectors means investing in your horse´s soundness and your own peace of mind.

The core benefit of the WALDHAUSEN Basic Over Reach Boots lies in their superior protective capabilities. Crafted from a specially selected shock-absorbing material, these bell boots are designed to dissipate the force of impacts effectively. This crucial feature significantly reduces the risk of cuts, bruises, and more serious injuries to the sensitive pastern and heel bulbs. By providing a robust barrier, these protectors allow your horse to move freely and naturally without the constant worry of self-inflicted strikes, making them an essential safeguard for horses prone to overreaching or for any horse during strenuous activity.

Durability and convenience are at the forefront of this design. Understanding that equestrian equipment must withstand demanding conditions, these over-reach boots are exceptionally hardwearing and built to last. They can handle daily exposure to mud, water, and arena surfaces without compromising their integrity. Furthermore, their easy-care nature is a significant advantage for busy equestrians. A simple rinse or wipe-down is all that´s needed to keep them clean and ready for their next use, saving you valuable time and effort in your daily horse care routine.

A secure fit is paramount for any horse boot, and the WALDHAUSEN Basic model excels in this area. The boot features a large, robust touch tape fastener complemented by a secure overstrap. This dual-fastening system ensures the boot stays perfectly in place, preventing it from twisting, spinning, or coming loose even during dynamic movements like jumping or galloping. This secure hold on the horse´s hoof is critical not only for maintaining consistent protection but also for preventing rubbing and chafing, ensuring your horse remains comfortable throughout its work. Available in a comprehensive range of sizes from S to XXL, you can find the perfect fit for any horse, from a small pony to a large warmblood, guaranteeing optimal performance and comfort.
