the hyde xt drystar*xf jacket is positioned closer to the heavy off-road and/or dual sport side of the adventure touring segment. featuring an extremely lightweight four-way stretch, single layer waterproof outer shell main construction for riding comfort. the jacket is reinforced with ripstop nylon on the external arms and shoulders for a high level of durability. the hyde xt has a laminated drystar*xf (where xf stands for extra flow) waterproof and highly breathable membrane for excellent wet weather performance. the waterproof $drystar®*xf membrane is an important benefit to motorcyclists riding in the wet, because it makes the jacket super compact and keeps it very lightweight by not allowing any water to penetrate or soak the into or through the shell. as a result, the drystar®xf membrane keeps the jacket from _ getting waterlogged and heavy, while at the same time prevents the rider from suffering any effects from windchill by simultaneously allowing the fabric to breathe. the jacket has long direct ventilation ports on each side at the front and back, zippered air scoops on the forearms, and the super-airflow panel on the front zipper opening for large amounts of breathability during warmer weather. internally, the hyde xt has a detachable armored inner mesh jacket whichis zippered in with nucleon flex plus ce level 1 rated armor. since the hyde xt has a heavier focus and potential for off-road riding, the inner mesh jacket is designed to keep the armor close to the rider´s body for ultimate comfort and protection, eliminating any movement restriction linked to the outer shell and armor interaction when muscling a motorbike off-road. the inner armored mesh jacket is also completely upgradeable to level 2 nucleon flex pro armor, as well as to the techair” off-road v2 system for the ultimate in rider protection. having the ability to remove the inner armored mesh jacket also allows the hyde xt to be worn as a casual jacket when off the motorbike. the hyde xt´s new outdoor adventure styling and function is made to inspire motorcyclists to get out and ride. from daily adventure to long distance riding, the hyde xt is the perfect adventure jacket for all environments and weather conditions.
