The traditional trapezoidal belt and the double-toothed belt are composed of thread and rubber, reinforced with a Kevlar insert. The fiber is mixed with the rubber, in the direction of the length of the belt, to contribute to a correct transmission of power and at the same time increase resistance to overheating and abrasion.

The toothing reduces the stress caused by tensile bending and increased heat.

The lateral cut allows an excellent seating of the belt in the transmission pulley. The braiding is particularly resistant to eventual loads at certain points of the belt.
