Last Thursday, October 3, we were able to enjoy the "Salomon GRVL by Runnerinn Test Day." We met at the Petals d´Art store, located in the heart of Girona. There, Iru, a Salomon specialist technician, and Anna Olivares, brand ambassador, welcomed the 30 participants with the new Salomon Gravel, a new model specially designed for running on compact dirt tracks and for those looking for a perfect hybrid between asphalt and soft mountain terrain.

Once we had distributed the GRVLs, we put them to the test on the famous Carrilet de Girona, a greenway that runs along the old railway line from the Costa Brava to the Pyrenees. The first sensation when we started running was of great comfort and cushioning, something that, as Iru had already mentioned in the explanation, makes them ideal for gentle runs and as a “training” shoe.

The group split into two: some opted for a shorter 6km route, while others braved the 12km Carrilet. During the ride, the Salomon Gravel proved their adaptability and responsiveness on all types of surfaces, thanks to which we enjoyed a fun “social run” at a very comfortable pace (although there is always someone who ends up “overheating”...).

Lucía, one of the attendees, said: "I was surprised by how comfortable they are from the first moment, as well as how safe they feel on mixed terrain."

Marc, for his part, highlighted the combination of cushioning and stability of the shoes, especially for running on dirt trails such as those of the Carrilet: “They are ideal for those of us looking for versatility between asphalt and paths.”
