Fibaro FGMS-001 Motion Sensor

Discover the future of home intelligence with the FIBARO FGMS-001 Motion Sensor, a masterpiece of engineering and design that redefines the role of a sensor in your smart home ecosystem. Inspired by the perfection of a cat´s eye, this compact and exquisitely crafted device is far more than a simple motion detector. It serves as a vigilant guardian and a source of vital information, seamlessly integrating into your living space to make it safer, more efficient, and incredibly responsive to your presence. Its award-winning design is not just for aesthetics; it houses a powerful multi-sensor core that provides a comprehensive understanding of any room´s environment, making it an indispensable component for any modern smart home powered by Z-Wave technology.

Elevate your home automation to a new level of sophistication. The FIBARO FGMS-001 doesn´t just detect movement; it also measures ambient temperature and light intensity. This trinity of data allows for the creation of truly intelligent scenarios. Imagine walking into a room and the lights gently turning on to the perfect brightness based on the time of day, while the climate control system adjusts to your preferred temperature, all triggered by your presence. When the room is empty, the sensor can signal the system to turn off lights and lower the heating or air conditioning, generating significant energy savings without any effort. It can count occupants, track movement patterns, and provide the data your smart home hub needs to make smarter, more proactive decisions on your behalf.

Security and peace of mind are at the heart of the FGMS-001´s functionality. A built-in accelerometer detects any attempt to tamper with or move the device, sending an immediate alert to your smartphone to notify you of a potential threat. This same advanced technology also enables the sensor to detect vibrations consistent with an earthquake, providing a potential early warning for you and your family. The sensor’s multi-color LED pupil provides instant visual feedback, changing color to indicate detected motion or the current temperature of the room, offering information at a single glance. With adjustable sensitivity settings, you can calibrate the sensor to ignore the movement of small pets, ensuring you only receive alerts that truly matter.

This battery-powered, completely wireless sensor offers unparalleled installation flexibility. Its miniature size and elegant form factor allow it to be placed discreetly on a wall, in a corner, or on any flat surface, where it will blend in as a piece of modern decor rather than an intrusive piece of technology. It is the sensory organ of your smart home, providing the critical inputs needed to orchestrate a symphony of automated actions that enhance comfort, security, and efficiency.
