Flamingo Wanda breeding box

FLAMINGO Wanda Breeding Box: The Ultimate Floating Fish Nursery Tank

Ensure the survival of the next generation in your aquarium with the FLAMINGO Wanda Breeding Box. Designed for dedicated aquarists and hobbyists, this high-quality nursery tank is the perfect solution for breeding live-bearing fish such as guppies, mollies, and platies. If you´ve ever experienced the challenge of protecting newborn fry from adult fish, the Wanda breeding box offers a simple, effective, and humane way to increase survival rates and watch your aquatic family grow.

The Guppy Nursery Tank Wanda is the perfect solution for separating newborn fish from the mother fish and other fish. Its ingenious design provides a safe and secure environment right within your main aquarium. Crafted from durable, clear PS Polystyrene, this plastic tank floats on the water, allowing for easy monitoring and maintenance without disturbing your aquarium´s ecosystem. You can observe the mother fish and the newborn fry without causing them stress, ensuring they remain healthy and comfortable throughout the breeding and early growth process.

One of the standout benefits of the Wanda breeding box is its specialized construction that prioritizes the safety of your fry. The unit features a separate, protected space at the bottom. As the mother fish gives birth in the upper chamber, the tiny newborn fry instinctively swim or fall through the safely designed V-shaped grate into the lower compartment. This clever separation immediately isolates them from the mother and other adult fish in the tank, who may otherwise view them as food.

Versatility is at the heart of this breeding box. With the included partition, you can easily create an additional space within the tank. This feature allows you to divide the main chamber, effectively creating a 3-chamber system. This is ideal for housing two pregnant fish simultaneously or for separating different broods of fry. This adaptability makes the Wanda breeding box an indispensable tool not just for breeding, but also for isolating sick, injured, or overly aggressive fish, helping to maintain a peaceful and healthy community in your main tank.
