Fluval AC20 filter box

Elevate the health and clarity of your aquarium with the Fluval AquaClear 20 Power Filter, an industry benchmark for superior hang-on filtration. Designed for aquariums ranging from 5 to 20 US gallons (18 to 76 L), this compact yet powerful unit provides an optimal environment for your aquatic life to thrive. Experience unparalleled water quality thanks to its massive filtration volume, which is up to seven times larger than comparable filters on the market. This significant capacity ensures maximum contact time between water and the filter media, resulting in crystal-clear water and a healthier ecosystem for your fish and plants.

At the heart of the AquaClear 20 is its exclusive multi-stage filtration system, which performs mechanical, chemical, and biological filtration for a complete and balanced cleaning process. The initial stage effectively traps large particles and debris. The second stage works to remove fine impurities, odors, and discoloration, polishing the water to exceptional clarity. Finally, the biological stage provides a vast surface area for beneficial bacteria to colonize, which naturally eliminate toxic ammonia and nitrite.

A standout feature is the patented re-filtration control system. This innovative technology allows you to adjust the water flow rate to suit the specific needs of your aquarium inhabitants, such as delicate fish or plants, without compromising filtration efficiency. When the flow rate is reduced, up to 50% of the water within the filter chamber is re-processed, further enhancing water purity. This gentle flow option is perfect for feeding time, preventing food from being drawn away too quickly. Installation is quick and effortless, and maintenance is made simple with easy access to the filter media basket. Choose the Fluval AquaClear 20 Power Filter for a reliable, efficient, and versatile solution to maintaining a pristine aquatic environment
