Fluval AquaClear 30 Power Filter: Superior Filtration for a Thriving Aquarium

Elevate the health and clarity of your aquarium with the Fluval AquaClear 30 Power Filter, a legendary workhorse in the world of aquatic care. Expertly engineered for aquariums up to 30 US gallons (114 L), this hang-on-back filter provides an unparalleled environment for your fish and plants to flourish. Move beyond basic filtration and discover a system designed for optimal water quality, effortless maintenance, and complete user control.

The heart of the AquaClear 30 is its exclusive multi-stage filtration system. Unlike other filters that force water through a single, restrictive cartridge, the AquaClear 30 utilizes a spacious, basket-style design that maximizes media volume and contact time. This powerful process includes:

* Stage 1 & 2: Mechanical Filtration: The process begins with the AquaClear Foam insert, which instantly traps large particles, floating debris, and solid waste. This first line of defense not only polishes the water for a crystal-clear look but also prevents a premature clogging of subsequent stages, ensuring long-lasting performance.
* Stage 3: Chemical Filtration: Next, the water passes through the Activated Carbon insert. This stage acts as a powerful purifier, effectively adsorbing unwanted odors, discoloration, and liquid impurities that cloud your water and detract from your aquarium´s beauty. The result is water that is not just clear, but truly pristine.
* Stage 4 & 5: Biological Filtration: The final and most critical stage features the BioMax ceramic rings. These rings offer a vast, porous surface area, creating the perfect biological powerhouse for beneficial bacteria to colonize. This essential bacteria works tirelessly to neutralize toxic ammonia and nitrite, converting them into less harmful substances and establishing the stable, healthy ecosystem your aquatic inhabitants need to thrive.

A standout feature of the AquaClear 30 is the patented re-filtration control system. This innovative technology gives you the power to customize the water flow rate without compromising filtration efficiency. By reducing the flow, you can create a gentler current for delicate fish like bettas or shrimp, or ensure food isn´t immediately swept away during feeding time. This feature also allows up to 50% of the water within the filter chamber to be re-processed multiple times, dramatically increasing contact time with the filter media for even more thorough cleaning.

Designed for convenience and performance, the hang-on-back design ensures quick, tool-free installation and saves valuable space inside your aquarium. The large media capacity means less frequent maintenance and a more stable biological filter, supported by the CycleGuard system which helps preserve beneficial bacteria. Choose the Fluval AquaClear 30 Power Filter for its legendary reliability, superior performance, and the peace of mind that comes from providing the absolute best for your aquatic world
