Fluval AquaClear 70 Power Filter: Superior Filtration for Crystal Clear Aquariums

Transform your aquarium into a pristine aquatic paradise with the Fluval AquaClear 70 Power Filter. Engineered for aquariums ranging from 40 to 70 US gallons (151 to 265 Liters), this hang-on-back filtration system delivers unparalleled performance, reliability, and versatility, setting the standard for aquarium water quality. Ideal for both novice and seasoned hobbyists, the AquaClear 70 is designed to create the healthiest possible environment for your fish, plants, and invertebrates to thrive.

Experience the remarkable power of Fluval´s exclusive multi-stage filtration system. This comprehensive process ensures your water is processed thoroughly for maximum clarity and purity. The initial stage provides effective mechanical filtration, trapping large particles and suspended debris to make your water visibly clearer. The subsequent stages for chemical and biological filtration work in harmony to remove fine impurities, odors, and discoloration, while establishing a massive surface area for beneficial bacteria to colonize. This vital biological balance is crucial for breaking down toxic ammonia and nitrite, resulting in a safe and stable aquatic ecosystem.

One of the standout features of the AquaClear 70 is its patented re-filtration control system. This innovative technology allows you to adjust the water flow rate without compromising filtration efficiency. At lower flow settings, ideal for delicate fish or planted tanks, up to 50% of the water within the filter chamber is re-processed, significantly increasing the contact time with the filter media. This means you get superior water purification even at a gentler flow. With an impressive maximum output of 300 US GPH (1135 LPH), this filter has the power to cycle your entire aquarium volume multiple times per hour, ensuring no dead spots and optimal oxygenation.

The intelligent design of the AquaClear 70 maximizes its effectiveness. The unique waterfall design gently breaks the surface tension, promoting crucial gas exchange and continuously oxygenating the water. The filter’s media basket is significantly larger than those in comparable filters, providing an expansive volume for filter media and allowing for customization to suit the specific needs of your aquarium. Installation is simple and quick, as the filter conveniently hangs on the back of your aquarium, preserving valuable space inside the tank. Maintenance is also a breeze, providing easy access to the media basket.

Elevate your aquarium experience with a filtration system that offers superior performance, whisper-quiet operation, and energy-efficient technology. Invest in the health and beauty of your aquatic world with the Fluval AquaClear 70 Power Filter – the clear choice for hobbyists who demand the best in aquarium water quality
