Fluval C4 Power Filter Housing

Elevate the health and clarity of your aquarium with the Fluval C4 Power Filter, a revolutionary clip-on filtration system designed for aquarists who demand superior water quality and performance. Engineered for aquariums ranging from 40 to 70 US gallons (150 to 265 liters), the C4 provides an unparalleled five stages of comprehensive filtration, ensuring a pristine and thriving aquatic environment for your fish and plants.

Experience the power of Fluval´s advanced 5-stage filtration process, meticulously designed to work in synergy for optimal water purification. The journey begins with two mechanical stages, featuring a large, dual-sided foam block that effectively traps large particulate matter and fine debris, preventing it from clouding your water or clogging subsequent filter media. A key benefit of this system is the integrated cleaning indicator; a small tab conveniently pops up when the foam requires rinsing, taking all the guesswork out of your maintenance routine.

Following the mechanical process, water passes through the chemical filtration stage. An easily replaceable insert containing premium activated carbon works to absorb and eliminate unwanted odors, discoloration, and liquid impurities, resulting in water that is not just clean, but crystal clear.

The true heart of the Fluval C4 lies in its final two biological stages, which are critical for establishing and maintaining a healthy, balanced ecosystem. The system features a patented Bio-Screen that blocks debris from entering the biological chamber, ensuring it remains pure and highly effective. Inside this chamber, a vast surface area is provided by the included C-Nodes, which are populated by beneficial bacteria. This biological powerhouse efficiently breaks down and removes toxic ammonia and nitrite, safeguarding your delicate aquatic inhabitants from harm. A significant advantage of the C4´s modular design is that you can service the mechanical and chemical stages without ever disturbing or destroying this vital biological colony.

The Fluval C4 is packed with intelligent features that put you in complete control. The patented refiltration control system allows you to manage the output flow rate. By reducing the flow, you can create a gentler current for delicate fish species and live plants. This action also forces water to pass through the filtration media multiple times, increasing contact time and resulting in even purer water. For maximum circulation, simply set the flow to its highest setting. Installation is simple with a telescoping intake that adapts to various aquarium depths, ensuring efficient water circulation from top to bottom.

Choose the Fluval C4 Power Filter for its exceptional performance, user-friendly maintenance, and commitment to creating the healthiest possible environment for your aquarium. It’s more than just a filter; it´s a complete water quality management system that delivers reliable, crystal-clear results
