Gardena Smart Humidity Sensor

GARDENA Smart Humidity Sensor: Precision Irrigation for a Healthier Garden

Transform your garden care routine with the GARDENA Smart Humidity Sensor, the intelligent core of your automated irrigation system. Say goodbye to guesswork and wasted water. This advanced sensor provides the crucial data needed to give your plants exactly what they need, precisely when they need it. By measuring moisture directly at the root zone, it ensures your watering schedule is based on real-time conditions, not a rigid timer. This leads to healthier, more resilient plants, a significant reduction in water consumption, and a garden that thrives in any weather.

The GARDENA Smart Humidity Sensor is an essential component of the GARDENA smart system. It works seamlessly with the GARDENA smart App and a smart Water Control to create a fully automated, demand-driven irrigation network. Whether you´re at home or on holiday, you can have complete confidence that your lawn, flower beds, and potted plants are receiving optimal care. Its compact, unobtrusive design allows it to be placed anywhere in the garden without disrupting the aesthetic of your green oasis.

Sensor Smart System Focus on the most relevant data for plants Measure humidity quickly and reliably Measure soil temperature in the root zone of plants.

Key Benefits:

* Water-Saving Irrigation: The sensor´s primary function is to prevent unnecessary watering. If the soil is sufficiently moist, it signals the smart Water Control to skip the next scheduled cycle, saving you water and money while protecting the environment.
* Promotes Plant Health: Overwatering is a leading cause of plant problems like root rot. By delivering water only when necessary, the sensor ensures roots get the perfect balance of moisture and oxygen, fostering stronger growth, more vibrant blooms, and healthier foliage.
* Total Convenience and Control: Integrated with the GARDENA smart App, the sensor transmits live data directly to your smartphone or tablet. Check soil moisture and temperature levels from anywhere, at any time, and gain full insight into the condition of your garden.

Main Features:

* Accurate Root-Level Measurement: Unlike surface-level sensors, this device features a large digital sensor field that measures moisture deep in the soil where the roots are, providing a truly accurate picture of your plants´ needs. This technology is based on proven principles used in professional agriculture.
* Wireless and Flexible: The sensor operates wirelessly, communicating reliably with the GARDENA smart Gateway (required, sold separately) over a long range. Its battery operation and lack of cables mean you can place it anywhere—in a lawn, a vegetable patch, or even a large planter.
* Dual-Functionality: In addition to soil moisture, the sensor also measures the ground temperature at the root zone. This extra data point provides a more complete understanding of the growing conditions for your plants.
* Full smart system Integration: As part of the expandable GARDENA smart system, the sensor works in harmony with smart Water Controls, robotic lawnmowers, and pumps. All devices are controlled through the single, intuitive GARDENA smart App for a holistic and intelligent garden management experience.

Sensors

The GARDENA Smart Humidity Sensor is engineered for precision and reliability. It utilizes a professional-grade measurement principle to determine the volumetric water content of the soil. The extra-large measuring zone ensures that the readings are representative of the wider root area, not just a single point, making it highly effective for lawns, flowerbeds, and vegetable gardens. Its robust construction ensures long-lasting performance in all outdoor conditions, providing you with the critical data needed for intelligent, resource-efficient gardening.
