OLFA L5 ComfortGrip Heavy-Duty Cutter

Experience unparalleled control and cutting power with the OLFA L5 Cutter, a cornerstone of the esteemed OLFA X-design ComfortGrip series. Engineered for professionals and serious DIY enthusiasts, this heavy-duty cutter is designed to tackle the most demanding cutting tasks with ease, precision, and superior comfort. It is the ultimate tool for anyone who requires reliability and performance from their manual tools.

The standout feature of the OLFA L5 is its revolutionary handle design. The sure grip handle is expertly crafted from a robust combination of elastomer and glass-fiber-reinforced polypropylene. This advanced construction provides an anti-slip, cushioned grip that significantly reduces hand fatigue during prolonged use, allowing you to apply maximum pressure safely and effectively. The X-Design contour fits perfectly in your hand, delivering stability and control that standard cutters simply cannot match. Furthermore, the handle material is specifically formulated for acid and acetone (oil) resistance, making the L5 an indispensable tool for harsh job site environments, including automotive shops, construction sites, and industrial settings where exposure to chemicals is common.

Efficiency and safety are seamlessly integrated with the convenient Auto-Lock blade mechanism. This user-friendly feature allows for swift, single-thumb blade adjustment. Simply slide the blade to your desired depth, and it locks securely in place, providing firm, wobble-free cutting without the need to twist or tighten a dial. This ensures your blade stays put, giving you the confidence to make clean, accurate cuts through a variety of tough materials.

Adding exceptional versatility, the OLFA L5 features a built-in hard metal pick at the base of the handle. This rugged, multi-purpose tool transforms your cutter into a multi-functional powerhouse. Use it to pry open paint can lids, remove staples, score lines on drywall, tuck carpet, or open heavily taped boxes without dulling your blade. This thoughtful addition saves you time and space in your toolbox, eliminating the need to carry a separate prying tool.

Built for heavy-duty applications, the OLFA L5 is compatible with ultra-sharp and durable 18mm OLFA LB snap-off blades. It excels at cutting through industrial-grade materials such as drywall, roofing shingles, linoleum, vinyl, nylon, rubber, and thick cardboard. Whether you are a general contractor, roofer, flooring installer, or warehouse professional, the OLFA L5 cutter is engineered to exceed your expectations, providing a perfect blend of ergonomic design, rugged durability, and unmatched cutting performance.
