RUBI 24988 Hidro Plus Pro Plastic Sponge Float | Professional Grouting & Cleaning Tool

Elevate your tiling and finishing work to a professional standard with the RUBI 24988 Hidro Plus Pro Plastic Float with Sponge. Designed for the discerning professional ceramic tile layer, this multi-purpose tool is an indispensable asset for achieving a flawless finish, from initial application to final cleanup. Whether you are extending mortar or performing the critical post-grouting wash, this float delivers unmatched performance and efficiency on the job site.

The true genius of the RUBI 24988 lies in its dual-function capability. Its primary application is to expertly extend and equalize the planes of mortar, ensuring a perfectly flat and uniform base for your tile installation. The float´s rigid yet lightweight structure provides the control needed for smooth, even spreading. Once the tiles are set and grouted, it transforms into the ultimate cleaning tool. It is ideal for the final cleanup stage, effortlessly removing excess grout from all types of surfaces.

Featuring an advanced Hidro sponge, this float boasts a superior degree of absorption. This key benefit significantly enhances your workflow by holding more water, which means fewer trips to the bucket and a faster, more efficient cleaning process. Its high resistance to abrasion makes it the perfect choice for working on even the roughest and most abrasive surfaces, such as rustic or textured ceramic tiles, without deteriorating. This durability ensures a long tool life, providing excellent value and consistent results project after project. As a professional who relies on precision tools like RUBI Cutters for the perfect installation, you need a finishing tool that matches that level of quality and endurance.

Engineered for optimal handling, the float measures a generous 28x14cm, providing excellent coverage to make quick work of large areas. The 3cm sponge thickness strikes the perfect balance between flexibility for cleaning grout lines and sturdiness for longevity. Weighing just 0.237 kg, it is designed to minimize user fatigue during extended use, allowing you to maintain precision and comfort throughout the day. For best results and to maintain the integrity of the sponge, it is not recommended for use with acid-based cleaning products.
