Expertly crafted for the discerning professional, this tool is an indispensable asset for applying and smoothing plaster, stucco, and other finishing compounds. Its superior design and construction ensure exceptional performance, durability, and comfort, making it a cornerstone of any painter´s or plasterer´s toolkit. These high-quality palettes are engineered to deliver consistent results and withstand the daily rigors of a professional job site.

The heart of the R65988 trowel is its special high wear-resistant steel plate. This robust construction guarantees exceptional longevity and resistance to abrasion, even with intensive use. To further enhance its durability, the plate features effective corrosion protection with a layer of colourless varnish, safeguarding the steel from moisture and materials. A defining characteristic of all RUBI trowels and notched trowels is the perfect flatness of the plate. This critical feature ensures a smooth, uniform application and a perfectly level finish, free from lines and imperfections, which is essential for high-end decorative and functional surface work.

Comfort and control are paramount during long hours of work. The RUBI R65988 features a traditional closed wooden handle that offers professional ceramic tile fixers and plasterers the warm, soft feel of natural wood. Each handle undergoes a complete milling, sanding, and varnishing process, resulting in an ergonomic grip that reduces hand fatigue. The innovative closed handle design makes for a symmetrical tool, making it perfectly balanced and ideal for use by both right-handed and left-handed people. This design also provides a tool which is more centred, granting the user superior control and easier manipulation across large wall and floor areas.

The generous 48 cm length of the steel plate makes this rectangular trowel particularly efficient for large-scale projects, significantly reducing application time while maintaining a high-quality, consistent finish across expansive surfaces. Whether you are a professional painter, plasterer, or specialist in tile fixing, the RUBI R65988 provides the reliability and precision needed to elevate your craftsmanship.
