It is a really spacious bag, but unlike my son´s previous back pack from another well known brand, this bag does not look huge. The pockets and clips outside the bag actually hold water bottles in well and he can still fit PE kit and lunch box as well as books and equipment in the bag. It only has one pocket, but it is a large pocket so not really a downside. Fabulous purchase - really pleased with it and at a reasonable price.
