today i received a m 65 so for so good be warned what they recommended on the size chart my not be what you are looking for in sizes . the delivery time took about one week longer especially if you live on the west coast and any holidays. i was lucky enough to listen to my wife who said to get it two sizes to big its a great fit and and warm i havnt tried it in the snow yet but i am not worried iam sure it would be warm there too

Hi, Before going further into details, never forget one fundamental thing: the Brandit M65 Standard jacket is a legendary object. Not a ten-bullet jacket or a vague Military copy of low-brow fast fashion. The guy or girl who chooses this model becomes a de facto member of a unique clan. Due to its cut, quality, size and comfort, the M65 becomes a second skin. It´s not going to transform you into a superhero, whatever, but into an endearing character, open to others and really nice. For the size, a 4XL will be sufficient. Don´t forget that the lining is very warm but not as thick as the M65 Giant model (more military). For the rest, no complexes. Im 1,90 and 89kg. I got the L size and it's just a little big. It works for me since i dont want it too tight. I would imagine XXL would be a tent. 2XL and XXL is just the same.

Hello, dear Sir or Madam, It´s very simple. Take out of your dressing room (or your wardrobe, like everyone else) one of your jackets that you like and that you have worn for a long time. Even the one with a big eagle behind it. What is important is not the length of the sleeves (always too long) or the back, but the width of the chest and the width of the shoulders (if you are a guy*). Returning from your dressing room, you delicately place your old jacket flat on your bed (if you have a bed) and you measure the two widths concerned: the width of the chest X 2 and the shoulders X 1 (the size guide is quite precise). The rest will happen naturally. Advising you on a size is quite tricky, but your measurements indicate that you are of medium to large height and of slender build, I deduce an L would do the trick. PLEASE NOTE: a Brandit M65 Standard is worn loose, even with its lining, to allow you to add a sweater or hoodie in case of extreme cold. As far as pockets go, it´s poor. Hi, Forgive me for being familiar with you, but someone who buys such a jacket is automatically a friend. Never forget that you will be part of the “Brandit elite” thus becoming an example to follow. As for the size and your broad and majestic shoulders, I recommend the 2XL. For what? Because an M65 Standard is worn loose because it must, with or without lining, allow you to also wear a sweater or a hoodie in cold weather or to get to your job by scooter or motorbike. Also on foot. For your information, you should know that an M65 Standard is, with its lining, slightly less warm than an M65 Giant. The Standard style is more classic, therefore more "all-purpose" than a Giant which remains more "terrain". Having four of them (2 Standard and 2 Giant), they allow me a certain versatility. As for pockets, it´s quite limited. Two chest pockets and two lower jacket pockets and that´s it. Nothing inside. But here, from experience, a matching shoulder bag is much more practical and trendy (girls know why). One more thing, the sleeves are very often, if not always, too long.Two solutions: either you stretch your arms at the local gym, or you go to your seamstress. Or your mom or your sister or your girlfriend... or you fend for yourself. And above all, congratulations on your choice. AS54, a real customer. Welcome to the club, With 80 kg, an L would certainly be ideal. However, it is not the weight that determines the size, but the chest circumference (please note, this measurement is taken on a half chest size. Ex. size L = 60 cm x 2). To be sure, take one of your old jackets, lay it flat on your bed and measure from the underside of the left sleeve to the underside of the right sleeve, at the angle between the sleeve and the chest. Anyway, you have chosen the coolest jacket in the world (I have four). It is of super quality, loose in size and perfectly adaptable with any garment. PLEASE NOTE: its "winter" lining is very practical, but that of the Brandit M65 Giant jacket (more military) is warmer (eg going to work on a scooter or motorbike). Hello, There are two options to know the ideal size of this M65 Standard jacket: 1) take one of your old jackets. Lay it flat on your bed and take its different measurements. 2) Rely on Brandit´s "Size Measurements" (Brandit Fieldjacket M65 Classic). They are reliable and only those concerning the (half) chest and waist circumference are decisive (the measurement of the back is not important because the jacket is of a timeless style, loose and all-purpose). But back to the ideal size. It´s also not bad to consider your shoulder width. Being myself quite athletic, I recommend 3XL or 4XL. Your old jacket will help you. Remember that with or without a liner, you must be totally free to move. But anyway, you made the best choice. This jacket is a second skin, comfortable and universal.
