Three winters ago, I bought a similar coat from Salsa Jeans, and it's become a staple for colder days. I needed a new one, and I loved this one. I wear it every day; it has a smart-casual feel, so it works well in many situations. It's incredibly warm (I wouldn't buy it even if I lived in the South) and is comfortable down to about 13 degrees Celsius (55 degrees Fahrenheit). Above 15 degrees Celsius (59 degrees Fahrenheit), it's too hot. I have this coat, but also some lighter ones.

What a great jacket! I wear a size M and ordered a M, and it fits perfectly. I would buy it again in a heartbeat. The sleeves can be rolled down at the front so the fur isn't visible. It looks very elegant and sophisticated. I bought the jacket in black. The belt doesn't have any holes, so you can adjust it very flexibly for a perfect fit. I'm already thinking about ordering it in white too...

I´m 173 cm tall, weigh about 57 kg, and I bought a medium. I hesitated a bit, but I got the medium right. I just measured myself, and like you said, I´m not very good at measuring clothes, so I measured under my armpit at the back, and it´s 45 cm. My widest part is my shoulders, and my waist is much thinner. I usually wear a size 38, or a medium or small depending on the brand.
