Product description of LS2 FF906 Advant modular helmet

Description summary

Experience the LS2 FF906 Advant, a revolutionary modular helmet offering unparalleled versatility and protection. Its standout feature is the 180-degree rotating chin bar, transforming from full-face security to an aerodynamic open-face style with effortless ease. ECE 22.06 P/J certified for dual functionality, it ensures safety in any mode. Constructed with KPA synthetic shell and available in two sizes, it prioritizes rider protection and comfort. Enjoy optimal airflow, a wide panoramic visor with an integrated sun visor, Anti-fog MaxVision™ insert, and a secure micrometric buckle. Pre-equipped for communication systems, the Advant is your ultimate riding companion

LS2 FF906 Advant Modular Helmet: The Pinnacle of Versatility and Protection

Discover the ultimate evolution in modular helmet technology with the LS2 FF906 Advant. Engineered for the modern Adult rider who demands uncompromising safety and absolute freedom, the Advant redefines what a flip-up helmet can be. It masterfully blends the security of a full-face helmet with the convenience of an open-face, making it the perfect companion for everything from long-distance touring to daily urban commutes.

The standout feature of the FF906 Advant is its revolutionary 180-degree rotating chin bar. Unlike traditional modulars that leave the chin bar awkwardly positioned on top, the Advant’s design allows it to swing smoothly and lock securely at the back of the helmet. This creates a perfectly balanced and aerodynamic open-face profile, reducing wind resistance and neck strain. This innovation, combined with its dual ECE 22.06 P/J homologation, means you are legally and safely protected whether riding in full-face or open-face mode, giving you true two-in-one functionality.

Your safety is paramount, and the FF906 Advant is built to the latest and most rigorous ECE 22.06 safety standard, ensuring superior protection. Its robust yet lightweight Synthetic shell is constructed from LS2´s proprietary KPA material, which offers exceptional impact dissipation. The helmet is available in 2 distinct shell sizes to ensure a proportional and secure fit for various head sizes. In the event of an incident, the helmet is equipped with a rescue cheek pad system (Emergency Release System), allowing first responders to safely remove the helmet with minimal head and neck movement.

Long journeys are made effortless thanks to superior all-day comfort. Inside, the hypoallergenic, fully removable, and washable inner lining wicks moisture to keep you fresh and dry. A dynamic flow-through ventilation system, featuring a prominent chin vent, top vents, and rear exhaust ports, provides optimal airflow to keep you cool and focused in any weather.

Enjoy a panoramic field of view through the wide, scratch-resistant main visor. For bright, sunny days, a quick-action internal sun visor drops down with a simple slide, protecting your eyes from glare without needing to change visors. Foggy conditions are a thing of the past, as this helmet includes a premium Anti-fog 120 MaxVision™ insert to guarantee crystal-clear vision. The user-friendly Micrometric adjustment buckle ensures a quick, reliable, and perfectly secure fit every time. This helmet is also pre-configured to be set-up for seamless integration with helmet communication systems, keeping you connected on the go.

Nice helmet for the $$. My Cardo Freecom 4x fit perfectly

2025/04/19

Jeff

I bought this LS2 Advant to replace my previous LS2 Valiant II. I wanted a clean exterior flip back modular to fit my Cardo Freecom 4x comm device. This helmet worked perfectly. Plenty of room for a sticky mount, with large speaker pockets. Best price I could find on this helmet. Took about (3) weeks to receive via UPS. Living in the USA, I was sure I knew my size.

Good helmet, does everything it promises. Versatility is the strongest point, making it an authentic Jet helmet when opened. The materials are pleasant to the touch and the mechanisms work perfectly. It could be a little less bulky, but with this opening system that's normal.

I have a couple of questions, first is the size, I use a Grex helmet in size L and it fits me well but I want something a little wider for long trips. I already tried a Nolan 2XL and it fits the same as mine, will this helmet in 3XL fit me better? The second is approximately what is the customs cost to Mexico?

Answer of JOHN

Great helmet. I had to go one size up from my other helmets. Fits perfectly.

Answer of Nathalie

I wear my helmet 2 to 3 times a week and I am delighted with its comfort, size M fits me perfectly. Thanks again, I recommend the site. I had bought the same one elsewhere from the Scorpion brand in size L. It was not wider than this one but too high, I had to add pads inside the lining. Conclusion This one is less high and wider. Here if it can help.
