Revit Dominator 3 Goretex jacket

It’s a daunting task when trying to improve upon the pinnacle motorcycle jacket of our adventure collection, but we made it happen. The Dominator 3 GTX motorcycle jacket has enhanced ventilation, waterproofing, and refinements to every element of the construction to upgrade performance and comfort for the rider. The fully waterproof motorcycle jacket features the tried and tested 3L GORE-TEX laminate with an updated, clean design. The detachable storm collar - which protects the neck of the rider against the elements - can be stored in the back pocket when not needed.

The stretch cuffs are also detachable and will block cold air trying to flow into the sleeves of the motorcycle jacket. In higher temperatures, airflow to the body is improved by redesigned VCS|Zippers at the upper and lower arms while our patented VCS|Aquadefence panels on the chest cool down the upper body. The 3L GORE-TEX Pro reinforced Armacor fabric is used on the shoulders for extra abrasion resistance and durability. Protection is solidified by our award-winning SEEFLEX CE-level 2 armor at the shoulders and elbows and the SEESOFT CE-level 2 back protector. The motorcycle jacket is prepared for our SEESOFT CE-level 1 divided chest protectors. The detachable kidney belt provides stability and protection to the lower back area. Regular fit
The Regular fit is designed for comfortable wear, and it’s tailored to suit different body shapes and sizes. However, it is not considered loose. It falls around the body instead of conforming to the rider´s physique.

Flexisnap at collar:
- The REV’IT! flexisnap makes it possible to adjust the collar circumference easily and personalize its fit to each rider. A jacket is often worn in more then one season, and the flexisnap makes it possible to adjust the collar within seconds. During winter a wider collar circumference accommodates combining the jacket with a balaclava or wind collar, while during summer, a wider circumference lets an all-important cooling wind into the collar.

Detachable kidney belt:
- The kidney belt provides stability and protection to the lower back area. This garment comes standard equipped with a detachable kidney belt which can be easily attached to the jacket with a strong Velcro connection.
Detachable storm collar

External hang loop:
- Whether carrying the jacket or hanging it out to dry after a wet ride, the sturdy external hang loop is a practical addition to the design.

Long connection zipper:
- The long connection zipper is the longer, more secure choice of our two connection zipper options. It lets you zip the motorcycle jacket and motorcycle pants together as one. For comfort and for safety.

Prepared for vest connector NEON:
- The Vest connector NEON allows you to the upgrade your jacket with a vest that quickly and easily attaches. The highly visible vest offers enhanced safety.

Short connection zipper:
- The short connection zipper is the shorter, simpler and quicker choice of our two connection zipper options. It lets you zip the motorcycle jacket and motorcycle pants together as one. For comfort and for safety.

Soft edge at collar:
- For extra comfort, the inside of the collar is covered with a soft fabric.

Two-way Collar Snap Closure System:
- The two-way collar snap closure system works to close the collar in inclement weather and also flips back and reverses to use the same snap closure to keep the collar open and out of the way to allow in fresh air.


Climate regulation:

Aquadefence panels on upper front:
- When opened the Aquadefence system allows direct ventilation to the body. When the zipper or panel is closed, it presses onto the incorporated rain gutter, the jacket is then 100% wind- and waterproof. When the panel or zipper is closed the rain gutter will stop the water from entering via the ventilation holes, thereby keeping you dry and comfortable. Aquadefence zippers at waist:
- When opened the aquadefence system allows direct ventilation to the body. When the zipper or panel is closed, it presses onto the incorporated rain gutter, the jacket is then 100% wind- and waterproof. When the panel or zipper is closed the rain gutter will stop the water from entering via the ventilation holes, thereby keeping you dry and comfortable. VCS|Panel with FidLock® magnetic fastener:
- Removable panels for optimum ventilation. Ventilation is nice on warmer days, but not as desirable in cold weather. The panels can be kept open due to the FidLock magnetic Fastener. The Fidlock® magnetic fastener not only uses the attraction but also the repulsion of magnets. This leads to a robust closure with high locking strength that can still be easily opened with one hand while riding.

Protection:

Ready for Avertum Tech-Air® airbag system - ONE SIZE UP:
- Under this garment you can wear our REV´IT! Avertum Tech-Air® Airbag - or a Tech5 airbag - if you purchase the garment one size bigger than your usual size. If you wish to wear a garment that is marked as ´´´´Ready for Avertum Tech-Air® airbag system´´´´, you must be sure that the garment can accommodate the expansion of the airbag and therefore we recommend following below fit equation: 1. Measure chest circumference and divide the measurement by two; 2. Measure garment flat on chest line; 3. If the difference between point 1 and point 2 is 12 centimeters or bigger the garment is suitable to wear on top of the airbag. Note: Please keep in mind that the garment should be purchased in the correct size in order for the shoulder and elbow protection to fit properly and best protect you in case of a crash. In order to create space for the expansion of the airbag, you can remove all separate layers (thermal liners, water proof liners) that can restrict the expansion of the airbag in the event of a crash. Remove the separate back protector in your garment, if any, when wearing the airbag (a back protector is included in the airbag) and adjust all adjustment straps on body to the widest position.

Prepared for SEESOFT CE-level 1 Divided Insert Chest Protector:
- The protector pocket in this REV´IT! garment is tailor-made to accommodate the Divided Chest Protector SEESOFT CE-level 1 - an easy upgrade to maximize safety.

Safety seams:
- The stitching in motorcycle garments contributes greatly to the abrasion resistance of the total gear. This is why REV´IT! uses safety seams on garment areas at increased risk of impact. Safety seams have a visible as well as an invisible seam. This construction keeps the material of the outer shell together, even when the visible seam is thorn.

SEEFLEX CE-level 2 Shoulder Protectors:
- Certified CE-level 2 according to the new norm EN 1621-1:2012 the SEEFLEX protector is the latest innovation from the in-house R&D department. The new norm also tests the impact levels in various temperature ranges. The SEEFLEX protectors easily surpass the new norm without sacrificing wearer comfort.

SEESOFT CE-level 2 Back Protector:
- The SEESOFT CE-level 2 back protector insert is designed to absorb variable impacts without compromising on comfort, ventilation or freedom of movement.

3L GORE-TEX PRO nylon 400D fabric:
- GORE-TEX shells are made for riding in extreme conditions. The fabric is made of rugged 400 denier high-tenacity nylon that delivers superior abrasion and tear resistance. A high-performance GORE-TEX membrane is bonded to a tough outer material and a specially developed, robust inner lining makes it a 3-layer. The benefits of a 3 layer are less water pick up of the outer layer which results in breathable comfort for all weather conditions.

PWR|Shell 500D stretch:
- Consisting of 100% high-performance polyamide yarns, PWR|Shell 500D stretch takes the best properties of a nylon with a high melting point, tremendous tear and abrasion-resistance, and excellent durability and then puts the unique REV’IT! design stamp on it. This PWR|Shell fabric comes in a stretch variant. The 500D indicates the density of the fabric. The higher the number the better the abrasion and tear resistance properties are.

Visibility:

Technology:

3L GORE-TEX Pro fabric:
- Its unique 100% ePTFE-based microstructures are durably bonded to the outer material and a specially developed inner lining on the inside. The centerpiece of this technology is the new GORE-TEX Pro membrane. The GORE-TEX Pro membrane is bonded to the face fabric (outer shell) and a Micro Grid backer fabric. This is the secret to GORE-TEX Pro - it doesn´t use a PU membrane, which means that it doesn´t require the membrane to be wet before it starts to breathe, increasing performance. The Micro Grid backer fabric is also exclusive to GORE-TEX Pro and it gives less internal abrasion and snag resistance, whilst improving breathability and decreasing weight. It also allows the garment to slide easily over mid layers and feel more comfortable on the skin. It was created for maximum durability and protection.

VCS|Aquadefence system (patented):
- It was designed to help improve ventilation on garments that required the top level of waterproofing. Which is always a challenge. That said, the GORE-TEX approved system is one of the best – if not the best – available in motorcycle clothing. When opened, the Aquadefence system allows direct ventilation to the body. - The detachable storm collar - which protects the neck of the rider against the elements - can be zipped off and stored in the back pocket when not needed.
