This change is marked by small tweaks and adjustments aimed at enhancing its overall performance.

The Sand 5 jacket (as part of the Sand 5 outfit with matching pants) remains as relevant today as it was 15 years ago.

In crafting the Sand 5, a delicate balance is struck, paying homage to the past while looking towards the future.

Shifting Styles.

The Sand 5 H2O jacket takes on a slightly more sport-driven character compared to the Sand 4.

As adventure motorbikes become more sport-centric and dynamic, the Sand 5 H2O reflects this industry shift.

Matching the fast-paced nature of sport and the thirst for the uncharted, the Sand 5 H2O jacket fuses two genres into one.

Furthermore, the jacket is hydration pack prepared in the lower back pocket (like with our Trail vest), with a cutout in the left corner to feed a water tube underneath the arm and up the front to be attached on the left side.

The Over and Under Concept.

Like we previously introduced in one of our ADV jackets—the Offtrack 2 H2O—we´ve taken our know-how of the proven over and under waterproof liner concept and applied it to our Sand 5 H2O jacket.

Wear the detachable hydratex 3L liner over or under your protective layer according to your personalized preference for keeping the rain away—and keeping you dry.

Though we recommend wearing it over because of the high-performance characteristics of the membrane and its design-driven aesthetics.

A detachable, separately wearable thermal liner is also included to up the ante on warmth and comfort on cold, rainy days.--

I really enjoyed my purchase at Tradeinn. The coat for me has to be a 3xl because I weigh 105 kilos and am 1.80m tall. It's a little big in the sleeves, but nothing major. With the three linings on, it's a very warm coat, perfect for cold winter days!
