The back of this one is quite reinforced to offer us a very good support and stability. The padding and the double fabric that make up the mesh of this shoe offer great comfort. I have not noticed any discomfort at any time, and everything and being a fairly padded shoe, the perspiration has been very good, I have not had a feeling of being overwhelmed or excessive heat in the outings that I have made. The truth is that it offers a very pleasant fit from the first moment.

Midsole:

The most significant change compared to its predecessor is in this area. The incorporation of the new MIZUNO ENERZY cushioning compound, according to the Mizuno house itself, this new compound offers up to 17% more cushioning and 15% more energy return in the race. So, thanks to this new compound we gain dynamism and comfort. But this new Mizuno technology is not found alone in the midsole, it is accompanied by: Mizuno Foam Wave and XPOP foam. These three technologies together are responsible for offering us good energy return, great cushioning and comfort, and great shock absorption. I would like to clarify that the return of energy is very subtle. We will notice it in the reduction of fatigue as the kilometers increase.

Outsole: Good flexibility, excellent traction and durability. Wet asphalt, or running on a dry, compact dirt path, will not be a problem for these shoes. Apart from the fact that the compound offers great grip and flexibility, the passage of kilometers affects the proper functioning of this sole very little. It really surprises the durability that it offers us.

SEGMENTATION:

The range of runners who can enjoy the MIZUNO WAVE SKY 4 is very wide. From runners weighing more than 75kg who need highly cushioned and comfortable shoes to protect their joints, to runners looking for shoes for medium and long distance training at moderate speed. They are not the most recommended shoes for quick series training. The harmony of the new Mizuno Wave Sky 4 lies in going out to enjoy the road, unhurried but with no limits on the horizon.
