I was very satisfied with the quality/price, they are what they are, what you see is what you get! They are hard and reasonably comfortable for military boots. I normally wear the 44 but for this model I followed the advice and bought the 43, it was great. I find them warm with just a pair of cotton socks. The only negative thing is the steel toecap, the toes are in almost direct contact with the steel and they hurt a little.... they can blister. I recommend it to anyone who wants a classic retro style at low cost.
