These are probably the most comfortable straight out the box docs I've bought yet. Leather thats soft enough to take the pain out of wearing them in yet sturdy enough to take any punishment you can throw at them. Same quality you've come to expect from "old school" docs, just without blisters. My only issue is I received the wrong size so have to wait another 8 weeks for the much needed upgrade of my 12 year old faithful docs.

Yeah they are, however they now come in a range of leather hardness so not hust the stiff hard leather that can be painful to "wear in." Still the same design and quality you´ve come to expect but without the pain... I´ve been wearing docs for almost 30 years and I can´t fault them.
