ABUS 70/35 Marine Padlock – Weatherproof Security for Outdoor Use

Attributes: Keys, Padlock

Secure your valuable assets in even the most demanding outdoor and marine environments with the ABUS 70/35 Marine Padlock. Engineered in Germany for superior performance, this robust lock is the ultimate security solution for anyone needing dependable protection against both theft and the elements. Whether you are securing equipment on a boat, locking a seaside container, or protecting a gate exposed to harsh weather, the ABUS 70/35 is built to withstand the challenge.

The core benefit of this padlock lies in its exceptional all-weather resilience. It is specifically designed as a ´Marine´ grade lock, featuring an encapsulated solid brass lock body and a special protective cap with integrated drainage channels. This innovative design actively shields the locking mechanism from saltwater, driving rain, and dirt, preventing corrosion and ensuring smooth operation year after year. The internal components are crafted from stainless materials, further enhancing its long-lasting durability in wet conditions.

Beyond its weatherproof capabilities, the ABUS 70/35 delivers formidable security. It incorporates a precision pin cylinder and a paracentric key profile, a sophisticated combination that significantly increases protection against skilled lock-picking and tampering attempts. The hardened steel shackle is reinforced with a double-locking mechanism, providing strong resistance to pulling and prying attacks. This commitment to security is recognized with an ABUS safety level of 4, offering a solid level of protection for medium-value goods or items at an average risk of theft.

A unique feature is the impact-resistant plastic sheathing that encases the lock body. This thoughtful addition serves a dual purpose: it adds another layer of protection for the lock itself while also preventing the padlock from scratching or damaging sensitive surfaces it comes into contact with, such as boat gelcoats, painted gates, or high-finish equipment. For added convenience, the padlock features an automatic locking function—simply push the shackle down to secure it, no key required.

Choose the ABUS 70/35 Marine padlock for versatile, reliable, and non-damaging security. It is the ideal choice for a wide range of applications, from securing tool boxes and cabinets on a work vehicle to protecting basement windows and shed doors at home.
