What our customers are saying about N-Com B101 R Intercom

Reviewers praise the Nolan B101 intercom for its excellent audio quality, easy installation, and user-friendly design, even with gloves. Its good build quality and strong phone connection are highlighted. Some mention a desire for a rubber cover for the USB port. Compatibility with other brands like Sena is noted as a plus, though firmware updates may not be possible on this model. Overall, it´s considered a great value for the price

It just works

I have replaced a generic chinezium one with this. Yes it costs double but it just works with a Nolan helmet. Cable routing everything is clean. Music is okay. Don't expect audiophile level, but talking and listening to music is enjoyable and hassle free. I actually took an hour long meeting while riding at around 70kph and nobody was bothered by any noise etc. I am using a Nolan 40-5 jet helmet with just the simple visor, no chinguard. Battery life is okay as well I was using it for 3.5 hours out of the box and I'm currently at 89%. Be careful when assembling the unit. The battery connection is finicky and hard to seat properly. Once seated it's rock solid. Thank you Motardinn for the quick delivery.

From Bogotá, Colombia... Thank you very much! My N-com arrived sooner than expected and in perfect condition. I had to pay customs taxes that I hadn´t considered; it would be good to clarify before purchasing. In my case, I didn´t have much experience with these purchases, but overall, I am very, very satisfied! Greetings!

Stefano

Excellent intercom, perfectly suited to the Nolan N40. Easy to install, as expected, at a good price. Packaging is more than adequate to prevent breakages caused by couriers. The only flaw is that it shipped on the day it was supposed to arrive, resulting in a delay in delivery.

Helppo asentaa N80-8 kypärään. Käytettävyys on erittäin hyvä, hanskat kädessäkin. Ääni on hyvä ja puhelut kuuluu hyvin kumpaankin päähän. Latauspistokkeessa saisi olla kumikansi. Hintaansa nähden erittäin hyvä ostos.

For this price an excellent product!!! Easy to install and build in, nice finish and good sound quality for this N-Com B101 R. Even the Intercom can be linked and made to work with a Sena-SM5 because of the Sena chip. Firmware update, does not seem to be possible for this entry-level model. I think it could have a rubber finish to protect the USB connection.

Good and cheap.

Excellent product!!! Easy to install, great finish and good audio quality. However, I think it could have a rubber finish to protect the USB socket.

Francesca

Good morning! I would like to know if the n-com B101r is compatible with other brands of Bluetooth communication systems? Thank you in advance and good day! Francesca

Answer of Fabio

Mine works with the iPhone´s Bluetooth

Answer of Yann

Hello, if you mean by this that any bluetooth system can connect to the n-com as a client then the answer is yes. The N-Com B101 is treated as any bluetooth sound/hands free device. If you think that the N-Com has intercom functionality that will let you connect to other bluetooth motorcycle intercom systems, then look to B601 and more. I know for sure that B902 X can connect to other brand of intercom systems.

Guido

I wanted to know if it is compatible with n90-2 special and if it can be connected to the main one b902r

Answer of Joao

The N-Com B101R is an individual device that does not connect to any other device. For intercommunication it will have to be at least the B602

Answer of Yann

I have found out that it is compatible with the n90-3 only. Since it's only a Bluetooth system, it will not connect with a B902r

Hi, I have a 2023 BMW 1250 GS. How compatible is this intercom with my motorcycle? Thanks.

Answer of Oscar

I have tried it with a rugged tablet, an Android phone and a Garmin GPS and I have not had any problems with any of them, it detects it like a standard headset and microphone. With the GS I have no idea, but I don´t think you will have any problems. I can tell you that it sounds great and is very easy to use with gloves (and it has a very low profile on the Nolan helmet).
