Spidi Roar jacket

SPIDI Roar combines premium Italian components and great attention to details.

Its design is inspired by motorcycle road racing color schemes popular in the 80’s, enriched by ergonomic and protective elements.

With a sporty-slim cut, it provides great lightness and comfort thanks to 1.0/1.1mm Italian bovine leather, treated with a polished and light finish: this imparts a natural appearance and a soft, supple hand, while preserving excellent mechanical resistance characteristics.

The internal lining is in cotton, with a fresh feel, ideal in mid-seasons. The YKK® zips and the internal zip pocket guarantee maximum strength and durability. SPIDI Roar is equipped with Level 2 Warrior Light protectors on shoulders and elbows and is certified in class AA according to EN 17092:2020.

It can be equipped with the thermal or waterproof STEP-INWEAR liners, while the optional safety equipment includes level 1 or 2 Warrior back protectors.

- SPIDI was born in the most important district for leather processing. Tanning in the Chiampo Valley boasts roots in the fifteenth century, when farmers themselves began to tan and sell leathers. The beginning of the industrial process of tanning can be dated to the ´800s; it´s towards the middle of the twentieth century that the art of tanning invades the whole valley, thanks to the electromechanical development, and counting now over 700 factories in that industry. Almost six hundred years of tradition, innovation and research allow SPIDI using the finest leathers from around the world, wisely worked in this district in northern Italy. where tanning handed down for generations and where the common goal is to continue to refine the tanning process of leathers that will then be used in a variety of categories, such automotive, footwear, clothing and more. Spidi benefited from this amazing know-how to create the quality standards of leathers used in the motorcycle world. The proximity to the world´s most important tanning district allowed us over the years, and still allows, to select the leathers and to define all the stages to reach the highest quality products that exceed standards. ITALIAN LEATHER is synonymous of high quality and certifies that our leather were wisely worked in Italy to give our products a unique look, in accordance with our health/safety standards. Wearing an ITALIAN LEATHER product means wearing over two hundred years of history.

Step-Inwear:
- Modularity, this term has written the history of architecture and design in the whole world. SPIDI, always very interested to seize the most important technological innovations and to translate them into the motorcycle world, developed the STEP-IN WEAR Technology. The project took full form in 1998 with the presentation of the very first ERGO jacket. The STEP-INWEAR system is based on a similar research made in the military aeronautical apparel. At the base of the system there´s a ´´shell´´ conceived to accommodate the different internal linings; four combinations can be set to respond to a variety of temperatures. The precious work made by the Safety Lab led to the exclusive. STEP-INWEAR project, which redefines the concept of adventure apparel and opens new horizons of freedom. A simple but revolutionary concept. The primary advantage for the rider is to change or replace the inner liners; this allows to adapt the protection to different weather conditions. In SPIDI, we know how COMFORT and SAFETY have a fundamental role while riding on two wheels, and STEP-INWEAR offers a new way of travelling, so the rider can concentrate on the road and admire the landscape.
