Vertex 22190D piston kit

VERTEX 22190D Piston Kit: The Ultimate Top End Rebuild for Your Engine

Elevate your engine´s performance and restore its heart to factory-fresh specifications with the VERTEX 22190D Piston Kit. As a world-leading brand in high-performance pistons, Vertex pours decades of Italian engineering excellence and cutting-edge technology into every component. This piston is specifically designed for riders and mechanics who demand uncompromising quality, reliability, and precision for their top-end engine rebuilds. Moving beyond a simple replacement part, the 22190D is an upgrade in material science and manufacturing precision, engineered to meet and exceed OEM standards.

Unmatched Durability and Longevity

Experience superior engine life and resistance to thermal stress. The VERTEX 22190D is manufactured using an advanced gravity-cast process from a high-silicon content aluminum alloy. This specific production method ensures a dense, homogenous material structure, free from the internal imperfections common in lesser-quality pistons. The result is a component with exceptional strength and thermal stability, allowing it to withstand the extreme temperatures and pressures of a high-revving engine without distortion. This translates directly to a more reliable top end and longer service intervals, giving you more time on the track or trail and less time on the workbench.

Optimized Performance and Efficiency

Restore your engine´s crisp throttle response and powerful compression. Every VERTEX 22190D piston is precision-machined to exacting tolerances, ensuring a perfect fit within the cylinder bore. This meticulous attention to detail minimizes blow-by, maximizing compression and ensuring that every combustion cycle translates into pure power. Furthermore, the piston features a unique profile, developed through extensive R&D, which helps reduce piston rock and operational noise. The outcome is a quieter, smoother, and more efficient engine that performs as its designers intended.

Key Features:

* Advanced Gravity-Cast Production: Creates an incredibly strong and durable piston with superior material integrity compared to conventional casting methods.
* High-Silicon Aluminum Alloy: Provides excellent thermal characteristics, controlling heat expansion to maintain optimal running clearances for consistent performance from a cold start to full operating temperature.
* Molybdenum Disulphide (MOS2) Skirt Coating: Features a state-of-the-art skirt coating that significantly reduces friction against the cylinder wall. This aids in a faster, more effective break-in period and provides long-term protection against scuffing and wear.
* Precision-Machined Profile: Engineered to the tightest industry tolerances for a perfect fit, reduced engine noise (piston slap), and optimized power transfer.
* OEM-Quality Standard: Designed as a direct, high-quality replacement for your original engine piston, guaranteeing seamless integration and reliable function within your top end assembly.

Choose the VERTEX 22190D for your next top-end service and invest in the pinnacle of piston technology. Trust in the same quality and performance that top race teams and engine builders around the world rely on to achieve victory.
