Vertex Piston Kit 24244A for GAS GAS EC 300 (2023) | Top End Engine Rebuild

Restore the heart of your machine and unleash its peak performance with the Vertex Piston Kit 24244A, the ultimate choice for a top-end engine rebuild on your GAS GAS EC 300. Engineered in Italy and trusted by top-level race teams and enthusiasts worldwide, this kit provides a reliable, high-quality solution to bring your 2-stroke engine back to its factory-fresh power and responsiveness. Designed as a direct OE replacement, this kit ensures a perfect fit and seamless integration, making your top-end service straightforward and effective.

The Vertex 24244A piston is a masterpiece of metallurgical science and precision manufacturing. It begins as a specialized gravity-cast aluminum alloy, a method chosen for its superior material integrity. This alloy is enhanced with an 18% silicone content, a critical feature that significantly reduces thermal expansion. This ensures the piston maintains a more consistent and precise tolerance within the cylinder bore across all operating temperatures, leading to quieter operation, improved heat dissipation, and a substantial reduction in wear for a longer-lasting engine.

To further bolster its resilience, every piston undergoes a rigorous T-5 hardening and tempering heat treatment cycle. This advanced process strengthens the piston´s structure, giving it unmatched durability and the ability to withstand the extreme pressures and temperatures of modern high-performance 2-stroke combustion. The result is a piston that offers exceptional strength and reliability under the most demanding riding conditions.

A standout feature is the application of a high-tech Molybdenum Disulphite (MoS2) coating on the piston skirt. This permanent, dry-film lubricant dramatically reduces friction between the piston and cylinder wall. The benefits are twofold: it facilitates a much faster and more efficient break-in period, allowing you to get back to riding sooner, and it significantly increases the overall life of the piston by minimizing wear and scuffing. This meticulous attention to detail ensures your engine runs smoother, cooler, and for longer.

This Piston Kit Cast Replica for 2 Stroke engines is the benchmark for OE-quality replacements, offering the perfect balance of performance, durability, and value. Whether you are performing scheduled maintenance or a complete top-end overhaul, choosing Vertex means choosing confidence in every part.
