Vertex Piston 24355D piston kit

Vertex Piston Kit 24355D | 85cc 2-Stroke Cast Replica Top End Rebuild

Restore the heart of your 85cc 2-stroke machine with the VERTEX PISTON 24355D piston kit, the premier choice for riders seeking OEM quality and race-proven performance. As a trusted OEM supplier to top European motorcycle brands, including KTM, Vertex brings decades of Italian engineering excellence directly to your engine´s top end. This complete piston set is meticulously designed to restore lost power, improve throttle response, and ensure long-lasting reliability, getting you back on the track or trail with confidence.

The 24355D is a cast replica piston, engineered to match the original equipment specifications for a seamless fit and predictable performance. The casting process, refined by Vertex, utilizes a high-strength aluminum alloy with a high silicon content, which provides exceptional thermal stability and resistance to wear under the extreme temperatures and pressures of a high-revving 2-stroke engine. This results in a piston that expands uniformly, maintaining optimal clearance for quieter operation and reduced engine wear.

Key Benefits for Peak Performance:

* OEM-Level Reliability: Engineered as a cast replica, this piston offers the same durability and performance characteristics as the original part in your engine, making it the perfect solution for a stock rebuild.
* Reduced Friction & Enhanced Durability: The piston skirt features a specialized Molybdenum Disulfide (Moly) coating. This advanced treatment significantly reduces friction during the critical break-in period and throughout the piston´s life, minimizing the risk of scuffing and seizure for a smoother, longer-lasting engine.
* Superior Compression and Power: The included piston ring is treated with a Nitride coating. This hardened surface provides superior sealing against the cylinder wall, maximizing compression for crisp power delivery while drastically reducing wear for extended performance.

Main Features:

* High-Performance Cast Replica Design: Precision-manufactured to meet or exceed OEM specifications for fit, form, and function.
* Advanced Moly Skirt Coating: Provides superior lubrication and scuff resistance for a quieter, more durable engine.
* Durable Nitride Coated Ring: Ensures maximum sealing, reduced friction, and extended service life.
* High-Strength Aluminum Alloy Construction: Delivers outstanding heat resistance and strength for demanding 2-stroke applications.
* Complete Piston Set: A comprehensive kit containing all necessary components for a top end refresh.
* Made in Italy: A hallmark of quality, precision, and performance engineering trusted by champions worldwide.

Ideal for a standard bore cylinder on popular 85cc models, this "Size D" piston is graded for a precise fit, compensating for minor cylinder wear to restore the perfect piston-to-wall clearance. Whether you are performing scheduled maintenance or rebuilding a tired engine, the VERTEX PISTON 24355D kit is the ultimate choice for restoring your bike´s snap and reliability.
