Revitalize the heart of your 85cc 2-stroke engine with the VERTEX PISTON 24446D Piston Kit, the ultimate choice for riders and mechanics seeking OEM-level quality and superior performance. As a leading name in championship-winning engine components, Vertex Pistons engineers this kit to restore and enhance your machine´s power, reliability, and longevity. This is more than just a replacement part; it´s a precision-engineered upgrade for your top end.

Key Benefits & Main Features:

The VERTEX PISTON 24446D is designed as a direct cast replica, ensuring a perfect fit and seamless integration into your engine without the need for modifications. Manufactured in Italy, every piston benefits from state-of-the-art gravity-cast aluminum alloy, which provides exceptional strength and thermal stability under the extreme conditions of a high-revving 2-stroke engine.

One of the standout features is the Molybdenum Disulphide (Moly) coating applied to the piston skirt. This advanced coating significantly reduces friction between the piston and cylinder wall, leading to a quieter running engine, improved throttle response, and a faster, more effective break-in period. This reduction in wear and tear is crucial for extending the overall life of your engine´s top end.

This complete kit, classified under Piston Sets, provides everything you need for a professional top-end rebuild. The included nitride-coated rings offer superior durability and optimal sealing compared to standard rings. This ensures maximum compression, translating directly into consistent power delivery and efficient combustion, while also minimizing blow-by and oil consumption. The T-5 hardening and heat-treating process further enhances the piston´s structural integrity, making it resistant to the stresses of competitive racing and aggressive riding.

Choose the VERTEX PISTON 24446D for a cost-effective, high-performance solution that meets and often exceeds the standards of original equipment. It’s the definitive choice for rebuilding your engine with confidence, knowing you´re installing a component trusted by professionals worldwide.
