Clicking noises, a lack of compression? These are often signs of worn pistons.

For a cost-effective replacement of your original part, Vertex offers enthusiasts high-quality, cutting-edge pistons, the choice for those who truly seek performance. If your engine´s heart is feeling tired, the Vertex VTK22996D-1 Piston Kit is the ultimate solution to restore lost power and bring your machine back to its peak competitive condition. As a world-renowned OEM supplier for top European motorcycle brands, Vertex brings championship-winning technology directly to your workshop.

Vertex pistons are cast from a premium aluminium alloy, with a high 18% silicon content. This specific composition is a critical engineering feature. The silicon significantly reduces the piston´s thermal expansion, ensuring a more stable and precise fit within the cylinder across a wide range of operating temperatures. This provides exceptional wear resistance, making the pistons less susceptible to rattling or scuffing, which dramatically prolongs the life of both the piston and the cylinder bore.

Engineered for the demands of high-revving race applications, this piston benefits from Vertex´s advanced manufacturing processes. To further enhance durability and performance, each piston features a Molybdenum Disulphide (MOS2) skirt coating. This special treatment reduces friction between the piston and the cylinder wall, which not only aids in a faster, more effective break-in period but also provides an extra layer of protection under extreme loads, ensuring smoother operation and a longer service life.

Choosing this high-performance piston means you are investing in reliability and power. It is designed to restore optimal compression, improve throttle response, and ensure maximum sealing for peak engine efficiency. Don´t let a worn component compromise your ride; upgrade with a piston designed for victory and feel the difference that precision engineering makes.
