Restore your engine´s heart and unleash its peak performance with the VERTEX VTK24243D-3 Piston Kit. Engineered for enthusiasts and racers who demand excellence, this kit is the definitive solution for a complete and reliable top-end overhaul.

Are you experiencing tell-tale signs of engine wear? Clicking noises from the top end, a noticeable lack of compression, or a general loss in power are often indicators of a worn or damaged piston. Don´t let a tired component compromise your ride. For a cost-effective replacement of your original part that doesn´t sacrifice quality, Vertex offers enthusiasts high-quality, cutting-edge pistons—the premier choice for those who truly seek performance and durability.

The core of this kit is the masterfully engineered Vertex piston. These exceptional pistons are cast from a specialized high-grade aluminium alloy, which features a significant 18% silicon content. This advanced material composition is a critical element of Vertex´s design philosophy. The high silicon percentage works to drastically reduce the piston´s thermal expansion under the intense heat and pressure of engine operation. This stability ensures the piston maintains a precise and optimal clearance within the cylinder bore, providing better wear resistance and a more consistent performance profile. As a result, these pistons are far less likely to cause piston slap or rattle, significantly prolonging the service life of both the piston and the entire engine top end.

This VTK24243D-3 kit features a RACE version piston, specifically designed to restore and even enhance your engine´s power delivery, throttle response, and overall reliability. It’s more than just a replacement part; it’s an upgrade to the very core of your machine´s powerhouse. Choosing a Vertex Piston means investing in industry-leading technology trusted by champions and dedicated riders around the world.

This comprehensive kit is designed to provide everything you need for a precise and professional top-end refresh. The package includes the high-performance cast Piston, a robust Piston Pin, the necessary high-quality Ring(s) for a perfect seal, two durable Circlips, a new Needle Bearing, and a complete Cylinder Head Gasket Set to ensure a leak-free assembly. This all-in-one approach guarantees that all components are perfectly matched for optimal performance and saves you the hassle of sourcing individual parts.

Upgrade your engine with the precision, strength, and performance of Vertex.
