WOSSNER 8552DA Husaberg Piston Kit | Forged Top End Performance

Category: Engines
Subcategory: Top end

Unleash the true potential of your Husaberg engine with the WOSSNER 8552DA Forged Piston Kit, the ultimate upgrade for riders demanding superior performance, reliability, and longevity. Engineered in Germany, Wössner is a world-renowned leader in high-performance piston technology, and this kit is a testament to their commitment to quality. Designed as a direct replacement and significant enhancement over stock components, this piston set is the cornerstone of a powerful and durable top-end rebuild.

Wössner Forged Pistons. Unlike standard cast pistons, this component is manufactured using an advanced forging process. This technique compresses the aluminum alloy, resulting in a much denser and stronger grain structure. The immediate benefit is a piston that can withstand higher combustion pressures, increased RPMs, and extreme thermal stress without failure, making it ideal for both competitive racing and aggressive trail riding.

Key Benefits & Advanced Features:

* More Power with Lower Working Temperature: The lightweight forged construction reduces reciprocating mass, allowing your engine to rev faster and build power more efficiently. Wössner´s intelligent design and superior materials also improve thermal conductivity, effectively drawing heat away from the piston crown. This leads to a lower overall working temperature, reducing the risk of detonation and ensuring consistent performance lap after lap.
* Teflon Coated for Less Friction: The piston skirt features a proprietary Teflon (Molybdenum Disulfide) coating. This specialized layer acts as a dry lubricant, drastically reducing friction between the piston and the cylinder wall. The result is a smoother-running engine, minimized wear during cold starts and break-in periods, and a tangible increase in mechanical efficiency and service life.
