Wossner Ski-Doo K7047DA-2 piston kit

WOSSNER Ski-Doo K7047DA-2 Forged Piston Kit (76.00mm Bore)

Product Category: Engines
Subcategory: Top End

Rejuvenate your Ski-Doo´s engine with the WOSSNER K7047DA-2 Forged Piston Kit, the premier choice for a high-performance top-end overhaul. Engineered in Germany with a steadfast dedication to quality and power, this piston kit is crafted for enthusiasts who demand exceptional durability, increased efficiency, and optimal engine output in the most challenging winter environments. Whether you are refurbishing a worn-out engine or seeking to enhance power, WOSSNER delivers the precise components necessary for a dependable and potent powerplant.

This all-inclusive kit represents a significant upgrade beyond standard cast pistons. The central component is a piston meticulously forged from a high-strength 4032 T6 aluminum alloy. Unlike cast pistons, a forged piston possesses a denser grain structure, resulting in superior strength and resistance to the intense pressures and temperatures encountered in a high-output two-stroke engine. This makes the WOSSNER K7047DA-2 ideal for high-stress operation, from aggressive trail riding to competitive racing, ensuring your engine can endure demanding conditions without compromise.

A key distinguishing feature is the proprietary, permanent skirt coating. This advanced Moly-based layer is specifically engineered to reduce friction between the piston and the cylinder wall. The immediate advantages include a noticeable improvement in thermal efficiency, a substantial reduction in operating noise caused by piston slap, and an extended engine lifespan. This coating permits tighter tolerances and a smoother break-in process, leading to quieter, more responsive, and ultimately more reliable performance from your snowmobile´s engine.

The entire piston assembly undergoes a T6 heat treatment process, hardening the aluminum alloy to its maximum strength. This critical step ensures exceptional heat resistance and dimensional stability, preventing piston distortion and failure under extreme thermal loads. It is this commitment to metallurgical excellence that instills the confidence to push your Ski-Doo to its limits. This kit provides a complete top-end solution, containing all the essential, matched components for a single cylinder.
