ARVA Probe Access 240: The Lightweight & Reliable Avalanche Safety Probe

Venture into the backcountry with confidence, knowing you have the ARVA Probe Access 240 as a cornerstone of your avalanche safety equipment. Designed specifically for the dedicated off-piste and backcountry enthusiast who demands absolute reliability without a weight penalty, this avalanche probe masterfully combines essential, life-saving features with an incredibly user-friendly design. In any rescue scenario, every second is critical, and the Access 240 is meticulously engineered for swift, dependable performance when it matters the most. It is the ideal tool for skiers, snowboarders, and mountaineers seeking a practical, efficient, and lightweight probe for their mountain adventures.

Equipped with the innovative FLASH LOCK locking system, the ACCESS 240 probe ensures rapid and secure deployment. This intuitive system uses a quick and effective knot to lock your probe when deployed, allowing you to assemble and lock the segments with a single, fluid motion. This design eliminates fumbling with complex mechanisms and saves precious time in an emergency situation. The reliable locking mechanism provides a solid, trustworthy connection that won’t fail under the pressure of probing, giving you the peace of mind needed to focus during a high-stress rescue.

Deployment is further streamlined by the cone inserts at the end of each tube segment. These specially designed cones guide the pieces together for a seamless and snag-free assembly, preventing delays caused by misalignment. The process is completed with the ergonomic pull handle, which makes tensioning the internal cord effortless and provides excellent grip, even with gloves on. Once the probe is fully tensioned and locked, the handle conveniently snaps onto the main tube, keeping it secure and out of the way as you work. The ACCESS 240 probe is reliable, lightweight, and will work for most off-piste and backcountry enthusiasts. The cone inserts at the end of each tube segment and the pull handle make deploying this probe quick and easy in emergency situations.
