Key Benefits of the ARVA Spark 240

Unmatched Speed in Critical Moments: In a companion rescue scenario, every second is crucial. The ARVA Probe Spark 240 features the innovative PIN LOCK locking system. This intuitive mechanism allows for instantaneous deployment; a single, swift pull on the dedicated handle is all it takes to lock the segments securely into place. This rapid assembly ensures you can begin probing immediately, maximizing the efficiency of your search and minimizing critical time lost.

Exceptionally Compact for Unrestricted Adventure: Designed for the modern backcountry traveler, the Spark 240 breaks down into eight short 30cm segments. This thoughtful design makes it one of the most compact probes available, allowing it to be stowed effortlessly inside almost any ski touring or snowboarding backpack, even smaller day packs. Its low profile ensures it never gets in the way, making it the perfect, unobtrusive safety partner for any mission.

Built for Unwavering Reliability: Your avalanche probe must perform flawlessly in challenging alpine environments, including hard snow and debris. The Spark 240 is constructed with strong and durable 7075 aluminum tubing, offering an excellent balance of rigidity and low weight. This robust construction, paired with a stainless steel tension cord, prevents stretching and ensures consistent, reliable performance search after search, season after season.

Precision for an Effective Search: Locating a victim is only the first step; understanding the burial depth is key to an efficient shoveling strategy. The probe features clear, precise markings along its length, allowing you to instantly read the snow depth upon a successful strike. This vital information helps you communicate effectively with your rescue partners and begin a more strategic and energy-efficient excavation.
