ATOMIC BCT Touring Poles: Your Reliable Partner for Backcountry Adventures

Conquer every ascent and master every descent with the ATOMIC BCT Touring poles, meticulously engineered for the demanding ski touring enthusiast. Designed as a robust and dependable workhorse for your backcountry missions, these poles deliver an exceptional blend of lightweight performance, unwavering reliability, and intelligent, user-centric features. Whether you´re embarking on a multi-day expedition or a quick pre-work lap, the BCT Touring poles are built to support you every step of the way, providing the confidence you need to explore beyond the resort boundaries.

Experience unparalleled adaptability on variable terrain. The pole´s advanced telescopic design, equipped with the Power Lock system, allows for swift and secure length adjustments on the fly. Effortlessly shorten the poles for steep, technical climbs and extend them for long, flat traverses or the descent, ensuring optimal posture and efficiency throughout your tour. This reliable locking mechanism guarantees that your poles stay at the desired length without slipping, giving you one less thing to worry about when you´re focusing on your line. The foundation of this pole is its strong and durable 4* Aluminum shaft, engineered to withstand the rigors of season after season in the mountains.

Safety is paramount in the backcountry, and the ATOMIC BCT Touring pole integrates a critical safety innovation. The integrated SQS (Safety Quick Release System) is designed to instantly release the touring strap from the grip when it´s placed under sudden, high tension. This crucial feature helps to prevent wrist, elbow, and shoulder injuries in the event of a fall or if the pole gets caught on a tree or rock. Ski with greater peace of mind, knowing your equipment is actively working to keep you safe.

Comfort on long tours is non-negotiable. The ergonomic BCT Grip, made from EVA foam, offers a warm, comfortable, and secure hold, whether you are wearing thick gloves or none at all. The extended grip zone allows you to quickly change your hand position on short, steep sections without needing to adjust the pole´s length. Paired with a comfortable and secure Touring Strap, this system minimizes hand fatigue and maximizes power transfer with every push. The pole is finished with a durable steel tip for a tenacious bite on ice and rock, and an 85mm touring basket that provides excellent flotation in deep powder, preventing your poles from sinking when you need support the most.
