So it’s getting a bit colder around the house… I almost always wear a regular lightweight merino buff, but I noticed it just wasn’t enough with the lower temperatures (I keep the house around 14ºC). Often I put on two, to keep my neck comfortably warm. I have the heavyweight as well, but I found it too bulky for casual wear. Then I decided to upgrade to this midweight buff and it’s exactly right. Just a bit more material, a bit warmer and all in all more comfortable. It’s nice and soft and I’m considering buying another color.

Really comfy. I love the merino. The fit is a bit looser than synthetic buffs, but I like that. Just keep in mind they are significantly less durable than synthetic buffs. After constant use over 1-2 years, they will start forming holes. I think this is more of an issue with merino.
