BURTON Freedback Protector: Unleash Skate-Style Freedom on Your Snowboard

Revolutionize your ride and break free from traditional constraints with the Burton Freedback Protector. For decades, snowboarders have faced a classic dilemma: the supportive control of a hi-back comes at the cost of restricted mobility and creative expression. This innovative accessory is engineered to shatter that compromise, offering a unique solution for riders who crave a looser, more skate-inspired feel without sacrificing essential heel-side response. The Freedback is the ultimate upgrade for freestyle enthusiasts and powder surfers looking to unlock a new dimension of movement and style on the mountain.

Imagine the fluid, unrestricted motion of skateboarding, but on snow. The Freedback makes this a reality by replacing your standard hi-back, opening up a new world of mobility for your ankles and lower legs. This newfound freedom translates directly to your riding, allowing for deeper, more stylish grabs, tweaked-out airs, and effortless butters and presses in the park. For powder hounds, it delivers a loose, surf-inspired feel, enabling you to flow through deep snow with unparalleled grace and control. It’s a technical evolution that enhances your connection to the board, promoting a more intuitive and playful riding experience.

Since the invention of the hi-back, snowboarders have traded control for restriction.

The Freedback solves that eternal sacrifice with an elevated heel hoop that locks in edge-to-edge response without the restrictive feel of a hi-back.

The result is a technical no-back that combines solid stomping power and skate-style freedom for park and pow riders alike.
