DYNAFIT Borax Primaloft Mittens

Conquer the coldest peaks and enjoy every moment of your ski tour with the DYNAFIT Borax PrimaLoft® Mittens. Engineered for the demanding conditions of the high alpine, these mittens are your essential guarantee for warm, protected hands without the burden of weight or bulk. When the temperature plummets and the wind howls on the ridgeline, the Borax mittens provide a crucial layer of reliable warmth, ensuring comfort and dexterity are never compromised. They are the perfect solution for athletes who demand high performance, minimal weight, and absolute dependability from their mountain equipment.

The Borax PrimaLoft® Mittens are the ultimate friend for warm hands on a ski tour.

The wind-resistant insulating mittens made of Dynashell Ultralight Fabric and PrimaLoft® Insulation weighs an ultralight 80 grams, but still scores points for top warmth.

Meaning you can defy all kinds of weather conditions on a ski tour.

Best case is to have these mittens in your pack at all times - be that for an well-earned rest break on the summit or as protection in particularly cold conditions.

Borax PrimaLoft Mittens - Never cold hands again.

At the heart of the Borax Mitten´s exceptional performance is its premium PrimaLoft® synthetic insulation. Renowned for an incredible warmth-to-weight ratio, this advanced insulation traps body heat with remarkable efficiency, creating a comfortable microclimate for your hands. Unlike traditional insulation, it maintains its thermal properties even when exposed to moisture, providing consistent warmth during intense, sweat-inducing ascents or in damp, snowy weather. This ensures your hands stay warm and functional, from the first pre-dawn skin track to the final descent.

The outer shell is constructed from the highly functional Dynashell Ultralight fabric. This technical material acts as a formidable barrier against biting winds, a constant challenge on exposed terrain. Its densely woven structure deflects cold air, preventing convective heat loss and preserving the warmth generated inside. Furthermore, the fabric’s surface is treated to be water-repellent, causing light snow and moisture to bead up and roll off, protecting the insulation and keeping your hands dry.

Designed with the minimalist ethos of the modern ski mountaineer, the Borax Mittens are a masterpiece of functional design. The classic mitten shape is an intentional choice, allowing your fingers to share warmth for maximum thermal efficiency in the most frigid temperatures. An elasticated wrist ensures a snug, secure fit that seals out drafts and prevents snow from entering, keeping valuable warmth locked in. Their incredible packability means they compress down to a minimal size, disappearing into your pack until needed. Whether as a summit layer pulled on over liner gloves or as your primary hand protection on a bitterly cold day, their versatility makes them an indispensable part of your safety and comfort kit. Don´t let cold hands cut your adventure short. Equip your pack with the DYNAFIT Borax PrimaLoft® Mittens and be prepared for whatever the mountain throws at you.
