Dynafit Radical RDS down jacket

Warm and light for ski touring on cold days. Warm and light hooded jacket with hydrophobic down for ski tours on colder days. Warmth with minimal weight: The Radical Down RDS Hooded Jacket for men scores big points with its water-resistant down for any ski tour. This down jacket is a popular classic in the DYNAFIT ski touring collection and a must-have in any closet. On cold days, it keeps you reliably warm and has impressive comfort. That comes from the premium RDS-certified 800 fill goose down with a loft of 800 cubic inches with a down-feather ratio of 95/5. Down is well-known for its excellent ability to insulate at a very low weight and small packsize. The only weakness of down is and remains its sensitivity to moisture. When down gets wet, it clumps and loses its loft, thus loosing its ability to insulate. Precisely for that reason, the premium goose down used in the Radical Down Hooded Jacket has been treated with DOWNTEK®. The water-resistant DOWNTEK® treatment allows down to maintain its density and loft even when exposed to moisture and thus it continues to keep you warm. In addition, the down dries more quickly and can be machine washed without any loss in quality. For additional weather protection, the lightweight nylon outer shell is wind- and water-resistant. Stretch underarm side panels ensure improved breathability, temperature regulation, and freedom of movement. Stretch at the hem and cuffs keep the jacket where it belongs and prevents cold air from getting in or warmth from escaping. Both front pockets and a chest pocket offer room to stash small essentials and keep your hands warm at the summit. Thanks to its small packsize, this down jacket fits into any pack to ensure it comes along on very tour. With an athletic cut, the Radical Down Hooded Jacket also looks great not only on ski tours, but also for mountaineering or everyday wear, and on strolls around town. Radical Down Hooded Jacket – Always warm, popular everywhere.
