Giro Ledge FS MIPS helmet

Giro Ledge FS MIPS Helmet – Freestyle Inspired Ski & Snowboard Protection

Challenge the status quo. The Giro Ledge FS MIPS Helmet brings a clean, minimalist skate-style design to the slopes, perfect for the alpine skier or snowboarder who values substance over spectacle. Built on the principle that innovation is more than bells and whistles, the Ledge FS MIPS delivers proven performance and protection so you can focus on landing your next trick or carving your next line. This is a helmet designed to be used; try it over and over again, from park laps to backcountry adventures. It´s where science and soul meet for uncompromising performance on the snow.

The Ledge FS MIPS is engineered with a durable Hard Shell Construction, creating a robust outer shell that is molded and then attached to the inner foam liner. This classic construction results in a helmet that can withstand the dings and impacts of a demanding season. At its core is the MIPS® (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System), a leading-edge technology designed to provide an additional measure of protection in certain impacts. MIPS can help redirect rotational energy, giving you more confidence to push your limits.

Comfort is paramount for a long day on the mountain, and the Ledge FS MIPS excels with the In-Form Fit System. This glove-friendly, ergonomic dial at the base of the helmet allows for up to 6cm of on-the-fly adjustment, ensuring a secure and customized fit for various head shapes and sizes. Paired with this is the innovative Stack Vent Technology, developed based on research showing the majority of warm air that causes goggle fogging escapes from the center top vent of the goggle. By aligning the helmet´s Stack Vent with the goggle vent, it helps keep your vision clear and fog-free. Further enhancing comfort, Super Cool Vents pull fresh, cool air into the helmet while pushing hot, stale air out, helping you regulate your core temperature.

Customization is key to personal style. The Ledge FS MIPS features a removable goggle retainer and removable earpads, allowing you to dial in your look, whether you prefer to wear your goggles over or under your helmet or add a beanie on warmer spring days.
